2010 Madden Online Franchise League Starting!

will the computer draft for un-owned teams? If so, we should probably leave a few "dummies" in there so every team isn't SOOO stacked (which they're already going to be with just a few teams).

the league will still be 32 teams, all teams that are not User controlled will be autodrafted by the computer..

Oh, I didn't realize that.

So what's the point of setting the # of teams in the league...and what happens to those teams that aren't filled of the 12 spots designated for live owners?

I guess we'll find all of this out in short order, as I suspect this first league will be a test-case for most, if not all, of us.

I think I kind of like mine. The problem is it's built for running, and I'm much better at passing in Madden. I've never really gotten the hang of the run game...even with teams with good run games.

The one big disappointment for me was missing out on Vick he was about the 12 best QB on the board at one point, so I decided I'd wait one more round...and then I missed out on him.

And, I think my defense is going to be pretty bad.

I screwed myself at QB. Three times there were multiple QBs I liked on the board and I decided to wait an additional round, and each time they were all gone. In my first game against the computer I ended up throwing Pat White in at QB instead of Brady Quinn. Like the rest of my team but wow.

So is there no salary cap or anything for the league? Or am I just not smart enough to no where to look.

plan to have your games played by tommorrow night if possible!

Any idea how the trades work? You just propose them and after the week the computer teams decide to accept them or not?

My TV just went into the shop for repair. I'm glad I got the first game in this morning!

AP went for almost 200 yards, but I almost lost the game because my defense couldn't stop hardly anything.

Vick landed on my Jaguars. I hate him. I think he's terrible. Sad part is my backup is Tavaris Jackson. The way I see it, the computer just figured I didn't need a QB.

I would prefer a more traditional, passer-type QB. Not sure what you have but I'd be interested in working a deal.

I've got Chad Henne and Josh Freeman. I went with youth because they'll improve the most as the season passes. Off the top of my head I think freeman is a 72 and henne is a 67.

check out my roster and see if there's anything else that might work for you. Keep in mind I'm keeping my OL intact, though I might be talked in to parting with one of my speedy (and again, young) WRs (Ginn, maybe? he's also a 99 returner).

But seriously, I can't figure out what the computer did to draft my team. Lousy QBs, piss poor WRs, one star on defense, and a crap offensive line.

The Cardinals, on the other hand, have stars all over the field. Ahh well...time to make trades.

And, and another note: My TV is in the reapir shop. I didn't think we'd advance the week so quickly. I'll likely have to slow us down this week, but it won't be a habit...I swear I'll play my games probably in the same day we advance!
