And, and another note: My TV is in the reapir shop. I didn't think we'd advance the week so quickly. I'll likely have to slow us down this week, but it won't be a habit...I swear I'll play my games probably in the same day we advance!

I saw you landed Aaron Rodgers, that is terrible news for me. What'd you offer? I have like 4 offers for different QBs out there right now.

Yeah, but I took Jones relatively early. I knew when I got peterson I knew I needed to build for the run, and he was my insurance policy. Now I have Alvin Periman backing him up (which is why i need to get on the FAs as soon as I get my TV back!)

I have a kickass OL at the expense of my defense. I took those OL guys off the board probably way too early and now I'll have to score more than 30 in every game.

I'm hoping now with Rodgers I'll be able to loosen up defenses with Bowe and my speed receivers (Harvin and Ginn) in spread sets to kill 'em with AP in the second half.

Pat White just cannot throw. I really screwed up not drafting a real QB. Luckily he is able to run and my defense is scoring a lot of points and generating a lot of turnovers. I just somehow need to figure out if I should take the chance with Brady Quinn, or just keep running with White till I lose.

Anyone figure out FA or contracts? Also, when will week 2 be finished up?

lol that is pretty funny birdman , can't wait till we advance I really like this league and it's cool having this messageboard to communicate . I just wish ea would add salary cap so people could sign free agents that is really my only grip about madden online franchise this year.

I have like 6 trade offers out there, most trying to land a real QB. Guess I won't know if they are accepted until we move to the next week.

Looking at the schedule for week two looks like there are 3 people who haven't played their games yet. So its not just you Pariah...but I still recommend the 82" DLP to solve your TV issues.

After winning my first game 59-7, including playing the entire 4th quarter with backups, I thought I was going to cruise to an undefeated season... then came the Cleveland Browns...

Their offense was freckin unstoppable, ugh.....

hopefully I won't have to play them again, EVER.... i scored a TD with 2 seconds left and needed a 2 point Conv. for the tie, I completed the pass to lee evans at the goal line only to have him get knocked back, regain his feet and get tackled at the 5...

first loss of the season, and it was a tough pill to swallow... haha

they have a perfect blend of pieces, which really worked... their offensive lne made it damn near impossible to get a sack...

Matt Cassel was the QB, they had Randy Moss and a few role player recievers that caught every damn pass that was within 5 yeards...

the kicker is Marion Barber was the RB, and when you have a QB that is completing everything, and you have to try and play a dime defense, when he ran, Barber ran over all my defenders... It was a nightmare.. lol...
