The sad thing is there really is no reason to be a Tebow hater. He's a good kid. Seems like an outstanding person, but the over hype has made all of us sick of him, including me.

That being said it is great to see the Steeler's lose a game like they did. Steeler nation has a LONG ride back home! BOO HOO!

Gotta wonder if that last defense was a blown coverage, or if Denver just caught Pitt in a look and exploited it.

I'm glad rottenburger lost in the land of the terrible toilet paper, but now I can't watch the muddaship for a whole week. Skip Playless will never shut his Tebow trap now.

The safety had to blow that coverage. Two things make me think that. First, was his reaction and trying to get back on the play and, secondly, Taylor, released him to the inside. I think it's strange that two safties were the main culprits in both AFC games. Chris Crocker played like he bet on Houston and the Mundy for Clark really hurt Pittsburgh. BTW, Taylor was putrid the entire game.

I really thought Denver exploited both safeties all game long. Even Troy P got torched at least twice: once when he bit up inside to take an angle on what he thought was a run, and his man broke off the route and went over the top, and when they ran the same play again he stayed at home and gave up a catch across the middle. Their D was decimated and it showed: Denver had guys running open all day.

Harrison blew out Decker's knee on that dirty hit. What a shame. Harrison really needs to sit for man than a game or two.

Just got out of a movie and knew immediately that the Steelers had lost because it was "Tebow Time" on the AM dial. LOL

They probably wouldn't have with a healthy Steelers team. The mistake people made is that thinking with 4 guys out the Steelers could still do it.

I don't get the hate for the Steelers. They are not the Cowboys. Besides if not for the Steelers success, we would not have had the staff we have today nor had the clout to bring in the players we have had to date.

Harrison is dirty.

Dirty dirty dirty. I hate that mickie fickie.

Rothliesburger is a creep.

they beat us in the superbowl..

lots of reasons not to like the black and gold.

Polamalu was freelancing like a bitch

He so was, more than usual, to my amateur eye. Maybe trying to make up for weaknesses at other positions due to injury, who knows. Denver used his aggressiveness against him all day long, all day, and he gave up some big plays. At one point, I remember him sitting/squatting in his zone, his normal safety position, when he got burned by that same play again he got beat on the first time, and to me, all I could think of was he's so confused right now he's just squatting where he was when they snapped the ball, and that's totally unlike him, obviously. By the end of the game he didn't know whether to be aggressive or sit back, and that's the worst position (mentally) you can be in.

Should add: don't really care about the injuries, although I'm sure they made a difference--they always do--because Denver had the best game-plan against Troy P than I've seen in a long time. Teams need to study it, it was that good.

It will be short lived. The Broncos are going to get killed next round. They got lucky running into a team with 4 defensive starters out. Just goes to show that even the best defensive team in the league can't afford 4 starters to go on the shelf for a big game.

It's the freaking NFL.
Which starters were out?

Thats the good & bad with Troy.

I also believe the Stealers thought it would 100% would be a run given the way they came back & it being the 1st play of OT. They basically dared Teblow to beat them all day with his arm...and he did!!! Not many times watching an NFL game have I seen a guy have 4 catches for over 200yds receiving & if I'm not mistaken all went for 30+ yards. Wow

If Tebow can complete those long plays they're hard to beat with their #1 running game. Denver had the Pitt D on a yo-yo all game long: sucking them in with runs and then chucking it deep. Tebow's mid-ranged stuff is horrific, but his long ball is quite accurate.

Big advantage also is that Tebow can run and not get hurt any more than any NFL Running Back. So Denver plays 11 on 11 instead of 10 on 11 like other NFL teams. Sure you can spy Tebow but the kid might just run over your spy.

Excellent point. Pitt stacked the box all game and Denver still averaged 3.8 a carry, with Tebow averaging 5 YPC on 10 runs. Plus the dude was pitching home runs when he went to the deep ball. And that's against one of the best defenses in football. They really played them like a drum, not to be too cliche'. Just yo-yo'd 'em all around the field all day.

Honestly, I'm sure NE will destroy them, but if they ran it for 3.8 against an 8 man box against Pitt, they're going to run all over NE. All over them. NE's defensive is like the anti-Pitt Defense. Heck, NE is like anti-defense period. If they can somehow keep it out of Brady's hands by running it all game long, it will be interesting.

I can't believe I am about to type this, but I will be cheering for the Patriots SOOOOOO hard next weekend. I can't wait to see Belicheat run the score up on the Broncos and I can't wait to see Pretentious Tebow to get knocked down a peg or two.

That being said I will not be heartbroken if the Pats lose next weekend, even though this may very well be the easiest path to the Super Bowl they have ever had.

Again I need to ask, what did Tebow do to even be perceived to be pretentious? Win ball games? Or is it because he wears his faith on his sleeve. Seems to me you're hostility is misplaced.

I wouldn't mind seeing the Broncs go on a run and have Tebow prove the experts wrong. It would be kinda like what the experts thought of the Cards chances in 2008.

It is funny that no one was talking about an 8-8 team backing into the playoffs(which Denver did) and how Denver isn't the worst playoff team ever. But it was good seeing them knock off the Steelheads.

I know this wasn't directed at me and for that I apologize, but I have to ask: What isn't pretentious about a guy thanking his lord and savior Jesus Christ after every game? Pretty sure Jesus doesn't give a rats ass if he wins or loses a football game. Heck, Jesus would walk through every concession in the stadium and overturn all their money, right?

Let's be honest, it's pretentious. As if somehow his love of Jesus is more important than some other dude's love for his family or his children or--like Sam Acho--poor kids in Africa.

It's pretentious as hell and irritating to hear every single interview.

I don't think it's pretenious. I think, in his own way, he is trying to share his faith, which is part of what you're supposed to do as a Christian.

I get that people don't want to hear it or get sick of it, but he has a right to thank whoever he wants.
