Don't forget his wonderful decision at the 2 min mark....Heat down by only 2.....LeBron shoots a contested 3 early in the shot clock.

Really?? Don't run your offense. Don't drive to the bucket but shoot a bad 3???

If someone had told me that the mental midget in the finals would have been LeBron James in this series I probably would have laughed.

LeBron said now or never before the game. LeBron knew the Heat were in trouble in the 3rd with Wade being hurt and missing most of it. LeBron had to be that guy to score 30 for the Heat to win.

Wade almost single handed took over the game with that 9-0 run that gave the Heat back the lead.

Wade is a better player then LeBron and it's not even a debate.

I had a hard time coming around on Wade until the Olympics - he was a workhorse, just killed it every second he was on the court and is a warrior. I respect the hell out of him.

yeah, i remember that too, thinking it didn't look like he was really trying in that game against Boston also and he still put up 27, 19 and 10... which is a RIDICULOUS stat line. just shows how OUTRAGEOUSLY talented he is. all the talent in the world, not sure of the heart. right now, he looks like the freaking Tin Man.

Tin Man or Cowardly Lion, you can go either route there. He doesn't like the pressure, but feels like he 'has" to own it. Some guys just aren't made to grab that pressure situation by the balls...Wade is. LeBron isn't. That brick three was a guy trying to own a moment he really doesn't want any part of. If he were to be honest, at the end of games he should get the ball to Wade and get the hell out of the way. IMO.

If I am Miami I forget all this LeBron legacy crap. Give Wade the ball and tell LeBron to get the hell out of the way. It's the only way Miami wins both games.

Yep, they finally had the great type of shooting night they were always capable of. Yes, Miami plays great D, but I think the Mavs missed a lot more open looks than usual in games 1 to 4.

You better be enjoying the **** out of this. I know I would be. If you want to gloat right now...I say scream from the top of your lungs to every forum/community you roll on. :) I have to keep saying the Heat are gonna win, it's like not changing your socks during a streak though.

I don't wanna jinx nothing, and the future isn't shining in Miami...It's quite sunny in Dallas though!

Enjoy homie, drink up, Dirk aint soft (I was wrong), Dallas has a chance, (I've been wrong the whole playoffs concerning the Mavs) and dance like nobodies watching...I know I would.

I'm glad most of the announcers aren't letting Bron's triple double get him off the hook. dude was an absolute dog again in winning time and didn't even step up when Wade was out.

I'm sorry, i know LeFraud defenders will point to his triple double as proof that he came to play tonight, but again, when the chips were down, in the fourth quarter, he scored 2 points, on 1-5 shooting and got absolutely lit up by Terry.

He had a good game, overall. But, he's firmly moved himself out of "all time greats" conversation for the foreseeable future. Wade and Nowitzki have risen to the occasion big time. Remember when Dirk had a "choker" tag in the playoffs?

dude's a shrinking violet until proven otherwise at this point in his career.

Yep. If Jordan or Bird had been taunted like LBJ was after game 4, they would have poured in at least 40 in the next game and cut the heart out of their opponent. Scottie Pippen must have been smoking crack when he made that comparison a couple of weeks ago. Of course, Jordan's lowest game EVER in the playoffs was 22 points.

no ****!

he's got two games to turn this around. If he has two epic Game 6 and 7s and they win the series, all will probably be forgiven, but if not and they lose, he'll be right where Dirk was five years ago. a colossal choke artist.

and if they win, and he keeps playing like this? he'll be a great sidekick until proven otherwise.

James is a great player. and I am not going to dog him. but it is hard to understand why he is not scoring in the 4th quarter of games. going into this game dirk was outscoring him 40 something to 9?? and he scored 2 tonight...if you want to count that?

Right on, but if I was you I'd be dancing naked telling my neighbors to shut it. You know what I mean and I know what you mean, they need to win one in Miami. I am starting to think the Meat don't know what to do and when to do it again, and they have no Coach. Could you imagine the Meat with the Mavs Coach?

I think Dallas needs to win this Sunday. If the Heat tie the series up, I have a hard time seeing them lose game 7. Go Dallas!

well regardless of what happens I think the heat need role players before they are going to be a dominant team. I know i was wrong about them losing to chicago and boston. and certainly the heat are capable of beating dallas. that is no secret. I just think down the stretch of these games it is all wade and james. the mavs have multiple guys that can step up...I'm actually surprised that it took until game 5 for multiple mavs players to show up offensively.

i wouldn't be dancing naked quite yet, but I'd feel pretty damn good. this is the closest you've ever been to a title.

I tend to agree, but you never know. I can see this dallas team winning big games on the road in any arena.

Yamon but he Meat need a coach is what I'm saying. The Mavs need a Ring.:D I've said all along the Meat won't win all the rings some jock on, but I had no idea they would be struggling like this this year.
I agree with you, and the other teams are watching right now, Meat are beatable. Aint like when it was Wade and Shaq with a bomb ass coach.

Much props to Dirk.

Not butt ass naked time yet, I tend to wax it sometimes. But with Wade's situation, and Baby Bron doing his thing...I would at least go get in a bar fight. :p

As a Suns fan, it's going to be a little disheartening if Dallas gets a trophy before us. But, since it would come at the expense of this BS Heat team, I would enjoy it. I was glad when Miami beat Dallas the first time, but not this time around.

Of course, anyone besides the Lakers or Spurs winning the title was a step up in my book.

yeah I was celebrating in 2006. when they beat SA on the road in game 7 and then phx, then took a 2-0 lead on the heat, I started to celebrate. I thought it was in the bag. so now I'm not making that mistake(eventhough I know this team is much tougher and battle tested along the route).

It's really reminiscent of A-Rod's many garbage time home runs
but chokes when a hit was needed. He's also someone who joined a team with an established leader, and despite more talent, remained second fiddle. But A-Rod did in fact turn it around in the playoffs and I'm sure we'll see LeBron do the same at some point. He certainly hasn't been doing it in this series, though, so the jury is still out.

If LeBron is shrinking during Finals fourth quarters, I'd be very interested to see how he'd handle a finals game 7. Wade could bail him out though.

a couple years ago, i'd agree, but the Suns are basically dead to me until Sarver either sells the team or figures out how to get the **** out of the way, get some basketball people who know they're doing and he decides he wants a winner... in other words... when Sarver sells the team.
