yeah that's why i'm kind of surprised that lebron wanted to team with wade(and vice versa). neither guy is pippen....they are both jordan(using analogy here not being literal). from day one lebron and wade have talked about being equal. and they do everything together to prove the point that they are united.....even mock nowitzki. That is the problem with this series. The series has become about LeBron and his legacy. Screw that. LeBron never was and never will be the best player to play basketball. He is not even the best player on this team. I am sure he will put up huge numbers and end up in the hall but best player ever? No. 7 rings? Right.
Everybody automatically assumed Wade was going to be LeBron's Pippen. Aside from the fact that Wade is in a tier way above Pippen.....it's really the other way around. LeBron is Wade's sidekick. No matter how bad the media and league wants to hype LeBron it's true.
Anybody that thinks that LeBron's legacy wasn't impacted by his stupid decision to play with Wade has not been watching. I don't want to ever see the comparison of LeBron to MJ ever again. One thing that is evident is that LeBron could NEVER have gotten it done with a Pippen. It's been a struggle with someone of Wade's calibur. Pippen sure as hell wouldn't have been enough for LeBron.
I like LeBron but have lost sooo much respect for this guy it's not even funny. Even if the Heat pull this off I am still going to feel like if LeBron had showed up for the majority of the series it wouldn't have been such struggle nor should it have been.
but it makes it weird because the media markets lebron like he is jordan and wade is pippen. when wade plays better it makes lebron look bad....or when lebron plays better it makes wade look bad like the chicago series. it just seems weird.
and then bosh? he just doesn't even seem to belong...it seems like wade and james don't include him in anything or that's the way it appears to an outsider. wasn't he supposed to be the guy that had to be part of the deal? yet james and wade have clearly seperated themselves from the rest of their team. I honestly don't know why they paid bosh all that money, when they probably could have used that money to get a lot of good players to support james and wade.
Look the heat can still win this series and I think they will win titles. this isn't me as a mavs fan hating on the heat, just thinking out loud about this like i have from day one. they are phenomenal when you consider the talent collection of the big 3(and that formula has worked in SA and boston of late). and i've been hard on their role players(to me haslem is the only tough guy) but they all shoot 3's which makes them dangerous. hell chalmers is like NBA jam this series...on fire even from halfcourt. if the heat were smart they would pass that guy the ball in the 4th.
I'm not going to bash lebron while he is down because I know he will recover. i think the reason dallas is winning the series is because they are a good team and everyone in the media would rather talk about why the heat are losing instead of just recognizing that dallas is clearly the best team miami has faced as of yet.
