Be careful when drinking in the heat bro, it will make you say funny things. The Heat do have weaknesses and no way they win 5 in a row. We've seen this before, someone looks strong and then comments like this are made. It's like listening to Bill Walton describe some player as one of the "league's best of all times" after they make a nice simple jumpshot.

Mavs don't match up well with the Heat, I had the series going 4-1 before it started, not after the first game like other folks have. But the offseason and part of next season will be spent trying get players that will match up against Miami, a few teams can do it pretty easily.

The difference is that Bill was in love with hyperbole and considered himself to be as much comic relief as analyst. Personally, I found him highly entertaining and every now and then he'd jump in with something insightful.

I like Walton too, he's a friggin deadhead after all. :D I think him and Phil Jackson would be cool to party with.

I'm with you on this. His reveries on Boris Diaw were eloquently hilarious.

If anybody knows what it feels like to lose a big lead, it's the Mavs after blowing 20 points to Portland in the first round. Everyone thought they were done after that. They managed to rebound and get all the way to the Finals.

The Mavs did what they needed to do and that's take HCA away; however, Miami gets three consecutive cracks at taking it back. I guarantee they take at least one in Dallas. Probably two. Miami is still the younger, more talented, better defensive team.

Heat still in 6. It's tatted on my arm :D

I still got the Heat in 5 but I enjoyed tonight and I hope I'm wrong.

That was fun. Especially because Lebron and Wade were strutting around like cocky little 15 year old punks on a playground when they were up 15 and decided to quit playing. They just got punched in the gut and it will be interesting to see how they recover.

Then watching them all run to the locker room withe their super sad (pouty) faces after blowing the lead was even more fun. I wonder which Heat player is "crying in the locker room" right now?

I'm no Dallas fan, but there is nothing to like about the Heat IMO.

Go Mavs.

In addition, it's too early in the series to talk about this game being a "momentum swinger" or "mojo builder." All we know is the series is tied 1-1

Too many days between to let this linger into Game 3. Spolstra needs to be more flexible with his lineup and make changes before the lead is lost. It took forever for them to get another scorer in there.

The Mavs just stole home court after being down 15 with 6:40 and are headed to Dallas for 3 games with all the momentum in the world.

If Miami had held on they'd be up 2-0 and the series would be virtually over according to the history of the Finals and teams being down 2-0. How is that not a momentum swinger? And if that is not a momentum swinger, what is?

Just one game.

I'd like to see the fan who would be willing to put up a significant amount of money that Dallas takes this series. That was an amazing comeback but I can't see how anyone watched this series so far and thinks Big D is going to win 3 more games.

Don't see it happening. But I am happy for Dirk and am glad he had a defining moment in the Finals.
