hate to say it but at the moment it looks like this is shaping up to be a 7-9, 6-10 kinda season...
QB issues, brutal schedule,....and already being hit by the injury bug......y'all remember that injury bug right? it rarely bites just once....

my guess is this will be a brutally difficult season for all,...the team, the organization, as well as the fans.....but the youngsters will learn, the team will get stronger over the course of the next year, and the schedule should be a bit milder next season.

Somewhere around 4-8 wins. Did the team even improve at all during the offseason?

Defense will be very active and will carry them to 7 to 9 wins. There are no Playoffs in there future this season. Average at best.

yeah, as usual we will win just enough to keep us from getting the players we need in the draft...not talking about tanking and all that, but we Cards fans have seen it happen many times over the years.
but ya never know....most of the other poor teams have invested in a young QB recently...we may get a good one.....then we need to run on O-linemen early.

Why not? I'm interested to know who says that this team is only going to win 3 games, and I'm interested in who says that the team is going to win 13.
If we run the ball close to 50% of the time, we can win 7-9 ballgames. I doubt we run it that much considering. :D

I think that 7 wins is a good season for this team, and I think that 8 wins or more would be a smashing success. I'm surprised that as much heat as Levi Brown has taken on this board, following a preseason win where we got out well ahead of Oakland's starters (a team that many are predicting as a dark horse team to win the AFC West if they can stay healthy), people are suddenly really pessimistic.

I'm really excited for some good defensive football this season. I'm with you that I don't think we'll run an offense that supports that D (if I were Whis and Miller I'd be watching a bunch of film on the late 90s Bucs and the first two years of Matt Ryan in Atlanta, but I'm not them).

I think the best hope is that Whis and Miller are actually as in love with Ryan Williams as they sound, they give him 225 carries, Beanie gets another 200, and the defense keeps the game close enough that they can do that.

7-9 is my call. I look forward to watching the D/ST, but this offense, with two QBs who scare the crap out of me and quite possibly the worst offensive line in NFL history = recipe for disaster.

Fair enough, just curious. I chose 3 because this offense was ranked 24 in yards and 19 in points and I don't see any improvements offensively, in fact I think they got worse. This offense is going to struggle to average 20 PPG this season. They D will keep thins close, but we have all seen this D quit in the past. We have also seen this team quit as a whole a lot the past few years and play poorly. The injuries, tough schedule, bad QB play and the overall softness of this team will all plague the Cardinals this year. It is very possible they have a hard time winning more than three games.

6-7 wins

Too many questions on the OL. Levi's loss is a killer

I am in the 5-8 category simply because I do not know how the QB situation will work out. If Skelton has a very good year I would give us 9-10 wins. Chances of that are sort of slim but we can hope. My big question is where are we finally going to find our QB of the future?
Until we do we will continue to mill around in the dark. How about Tanneyhill making it as the starter for his team? I think we have 3 rookies as starters this year. Luck, Tanneyhill, RG3. I sure would like to have the old Seattle QB who will now be the backup but his team is very confident with him as backup. He is probably the best backup QB in the NFL. Always a good thing.
