Hmmm, bad pass? Not perfect but pretty much the right idea. Absolutely great catch though.

It was a bad pass. If you have to make an "absolutely great catch" to grab that ball, it's a bad pass.

I just checked NBA.com and was surprised to see their box score shows +/- information. Marshall was minus 11 but Tucker was minus 9, I didn't expect that. Garrett, Babb and Onuaku were plus 14, 13 and 9 respectively.

We just looked really slow while Marshall was out there. And he really killed us defending the pick and roll.

Significance of Garrett playing last four minutes of a game the Suns were clearly trying to win???

IMO, the Suns were trying to get some athleticism on the court. Marshall could not match up with the Heat's quickness. The Suns do not play well in the half-court. Yes, the Suns were trying to win.

I think it's fair to say that Marshall will not be getting much playing time for the Suns at all next season. That's if we don't trade him soon.

I really hope that they don't try and force Goodwin into a PG. He has good size for a SG, he's can guard SGs and his shooting is pretty damn good from 3.

Garrett at PG and Goodwin at SG for the Suns 2nd unit.

The Morris's just look like men among boys in this league. They sure seem bigger than last year. That last move to the hoop by Markieff was just overpowering over Griffin.

To me, the Morris brothers are just looking solid. If they become quality rotation players, its better than most.

I think it's significant. Marshall was in when they blew the lead.

I do as well. i think they want to make it look like Marshall is still the backup PG so they can pawn him off on some team but when they wanted to win they put in Garrett. Marshall has almost no ability to get into the lane. In the half court, all he can do is take a few aimless dribble and then make an ineffective pass. I'm having a tough time believing he ever makes it in this league.

The Suns play the Warriors at 6PM Monday, Phoenix time, for the Summer League Championship.

It may be as close as the Suns get to a Championship of any sorts for a long time.

Will be interesting to see Bazemore vs Goodwin action. Bazemore has been the star of SL so far.

I'd much rather have Marshall than freaking Garrett as backup PG. Honestly I hope we can get something better than both these guys, but whoever won't get much playing time so cheap is the most important factor. IMO Garrett will never be an NBA player. Marshall has an outside chance.

Goodwin vs Bazmore and Tucker vs Green will be the most interesting matchups.

Tucker is basically an older version of Green. Should be fun to see them battling each other.

Marshall's lead lined shoes are just slowing this team down. Put him on the bench. I know this game doesn't matter in the scheme of things but he's just killing us out there.

The Suns need another uptempo PG and he is not on the Suns summer league roster.

I can't believe the GS coach (Jackson) just made that statement about Bazemore. He said (roughly) I've been watching the games and I've heard all the comments about whether he's earned more playing time but we have 5 perimeter players that are better than him so, no, he hasn't earned any more playing time. Heck of a thing to say. I'm not saying he's wrong, you just don't usually hear such a direct comment to that kind of question.

I hope the Suns play defense like this during the season...we will definitely have a top 3 pick in the draft then! :D

I heard it. It may be true but it was a cold blooded remark. I guess Bazemore can be had in a trade.

I know +/- numbers don't always tell the full story but I think they're pretty revealing as far as Kendall Marshall goes. He's already -12 at the halfway mark.

If Marshall had an outside shot, dribble penetration, speed and could play defense, he might be able to play in the NBA. IMO, the Suns made a bad choice in the draft. It's not so much on Marshall, it's on scouting and the last GM.
