It looks like the 76ers will run, run and then run some more.

I think that would at least make them entertaining. There is nothing entertaining about the Sixers at the moment.

I think this is how Jerry Colangelo thought about the Suns as a starting formula. If a team cannot compete, at least entertain the fan.

Blake Griffin hurt, partially torn quad. Terrible news for Clippers...

Bulls' Derrick Rose sidelined with tendinitis in hamstring

CHICAGO -- Derrick Rose will not play in the Chicago Bulls' game Wednesday night against the Indiana Pacers because of tendinitis in his right hamstring.

Rose's absence was unexpected, given that neither Rose nor Bulls coach Fred Hoiberg mentioned the injury before the game.

At least he is creative in coming up with new injuries.

Longtime NBA referee Joey Crawford will retire after this season. http://es.pn/22DL2jn

I saw that on a FB feed too earlier today, it's amazing what ESPN and now FB consider "news". I watched a show on NBA TV a few months ago on Crawford and it included the information that he was retiring at the end of this season.

Well, he always acts as though the fans come to games to watch him officiate. Now the media trying to give him some affirmation of that delusion. How sweet.

You should watch the NBA TV show I was talking about. I came away with a much greater appreciation for him and I think most people would too. Not saying his theatrics won't still annoy most of us because I'm pretty sure they will.

Joey Crawford's one of the worst referees in sports. Glad to see him gone.

He honestly should have probably been fired years ago after he ejected Duncan for laughing on the bench.

I guess most people feel that way. My husband and I cheered when it happened and then lost a lot of respect for Stern and company when they suspended him for it. That was the year where the players were specifically instructed to NOT do anything to diminish the refs in any way.

Stat was T'd multiple times that season for showing up the refs. It was obvious that Duncan was mocking Joey when he laughed and clapped and I am confident that there would have been no fallout for Joey if that had been Amare instead of Tim. But Tim was the Golden Boy, Stern had close SA ties and Crawford had a reputation for trying to be the star.

This guy thought he was bigger than the game. I'm not a Duncan fan, I hate every single Spur equally but that was the dumbest ejection ever. I don't care if he was mocking him, Duncan was laughing without saying anything else. Maybe a teammate said a joke that he thought was hysterical. Or maybe he thought of something funny his son told him the night before. Shouldn't matter, you don't eject someone for laughing.

It's not just that he pulls numerous antics for attention

Joey was one of the few refs I liked back in the old days. A lot of the refs called fouls because it looked like there was probably going to be one, but it seemed to me that Joey didn't call one until he saw it - and he was more balanced between the home team and the visitors. Home cooking was much worse in those days.

There was a time when he was the best ref in the league IMO. But it's been awhile.

Marcus Morris being his typical douchebag self at the end of tonight's loss against the Pacers.

He is an infant. He thinks crap like that, cheap shots and screaming at refs is what constitutes being a hard nosed player. Meanwhile he is a cream puff on defense and one of the worst rebounding forwards in the NBA.

Marcus' behavior has compounded our trying to move Markieff. One of the many downsides of putting twins on your roster.

Especially twins who live together and pool their salaries. That in itself shows a lack of growing up.

Their shortcomings are so similar, we're now stuck with Markieff. Each brother is judged by both. Especially when Marcus degrades the Suns to the Press from a distance as often as he has.

When they were together and now that they are apart, each has twice the power of the typical NBA journeyman. The kind of power normally reserved for the highest of superstars. Other than being twins, what have they done to earn that?

And the blame? Our owner who fashions himself a GM and Head Coach and puts on sideshows.
