i'd rather stick with the rebuild tbhLots of rumors tying the Suns to Butler. Next best thing to #3.

the more likely story is that lonzo is a bust and lebron doesn't go to LA.If this pans out Lonzo is going to be the happiest kid on the planet.Anybody that follows him at all knows LeBron is his favorite player. and one of his first interviews at UCLA, in the "just a kid out of Chino" story, included him saying he was a big Paul George fan. Everyone knows he wants to play for the Lakers, and now it's actually possible in the near future he'll be a Laker with George, and LeBron on the way
He never pulled the shots here. But he was highly regarded among his peers when he was here and he thought he would get the job here when the Suns instead hired Lance Blanks over him.Remind me of his best accolades when he pulled the shots in Phoenix please.
Funny how his tone changed on Russel really quicklyI'm sure Magic is dancing.

i'll collect laker tears as their rebuild is set back 7-10 years

he's 27.Well, the question is whether or not #4 pick is going to end up better than Butler. In my opinion, it's very unlikely. He is a very good two-way player. He scores, rebounds, defends, makes plays for others. Tatum is NOT going to be that good. Fox isn't either due to his inability to shoot. Isaac might be the one player who (assuming everything goes right for him) could turn out better, but in my opinion that's not likely.
it's been rumored literally every single year that lebron was at a point where he was able to get out of a contract. the lakers are the cowboys of the nba.People may not have noticed but Lebron has a MASSIVE house in LA and has a ton of business dealings there. He went back to Cleveland to win a title, he did that, in incredible fashion. I think he's now looking for where he wants to end his career and LA makes lots of sense

he doesn't fit into our rebuild because he's 27.... adding him maybe makes us a 7 or 8 seed. great. trading for jimmy butler just sets back the work we've been doing the last few yearsThat's your argument? "He is 27?" So what?

well.. the roster is full of teenagers basically.. by the time they are ready to be a complete basketball team butler will be past the point of being the player he is today.. I can't believe I have to spell this out..So we shouldn't have anyone on the roster who's old enough to drink?

it's fine man, root for us to trade for butler. whatever.

yeah, but at what cost? doesn't add up to me in this scenario for a number of reasons, mostly covered in the last pageAdding a 27 year old All-Star is never a bad idea.
