The Celtics could end up keeping Crowder but who knows.

Jody Genessy @DJJazzyJody

People keep asking about the Hayward-Crowder sign-and-trade. Not much of an update, but a source tells me it's unclear if it will happen.

So, the Clippers signed the best Euro player... a fancy passing PG.

If they stay healthy and that PG ends up decent, the Clippers might have made out like bandits trading Paul.

They finally got the 3 they've needed for years for Gallinari, a very good defensive PG with Beverly, a killer sixth man in Lou Williams (or possible starting 2).

That team all of a sudden is pretty deep if that PG ends up being decent, even while
Losing Paul, REddick and their sixth man who's name escapes me.

Lots of money being thrown at Tim Hardaway Jr.

Adrian Wojnarowski @wojespn

Story with @Ianbegley: Restricted free agent Tim Hardaway Jr., has signed a 4-year, $71M offer sheet with New York.

From my perspective it seems excessive.

Boston is sending Avery Bradley and a 2019 2nd rounder to Detroit for Marcus Morris. Yet another wing for Boston.

Hayward, Tatum, Crowder, Brown, Morris

This could mean Crowder is on the move.

Here are the teams with cap space from a report yesterday.

Paul Garcia @PaulGarciaNBA

Went through some early cap estimates and here's who still has over $13.0 mil in cap space: ATL, CHI, DAL, IND, LAL, ORL, PHX, UTA.

Would have liked to pick up Bradley. We could use a defensive stopper pg type. I think the Celtics are really going to miss him.

I think Marcus Morris can play PF in the East, he did some with the Pistons. Depending on the lineup that Boston uses they can get away with it there also. Definitely think they'll miss Bradley though, he would have been a nice addition as a backup SG/PG who can play solid defense.

WTF?! Why get rid of Bradley for Morris?!

I can't believe how quiet the Suns are during free agency, which is not a bad thing at all, BTW. Phoenix is pretty much the only team that was literally not rumoured at all (except two mild ones regarding Alan Williams).

Adrian Wojnarowski @wojespn

Sources: Clippers meeting with two free agent centers today: Willie Reed and Jeff Withey.

Withey has been a good backup center for the Jazz, he doesn't play much behind Gofort but he's a surprisingly good rebounder and rim protector. 2.7 blocks/36, too. Plays within himself on offense. If Williams gets away we should check if Withey is still available.

Willie Reed is an up and coming young center... Miami must have some big plans for this year to let him get away or maybe his asking price is out of line.

Clippers are smart to be checking these two out.
