Carolina sees how poorly the Cards played last night. Carolina watches tape of how badly Seattle beat Cards 2 weeks ago. Carolina beats the hell out of that same Seattle team today. Carolina knows they have home field advantage next week. Carolina and its fans start envisioning how great it is to be going to the Super Bowl. Carolina players start thinking about how they will match up and will play against the Patriots in the Super Bowl.

I have seen this scenario play out several times in the past. ('12 Patriots/Ravens, '07 Packers/Giants, '98 Vikes/Falcons, '94 Steelers/Chargers, '90 Niners/Giants)

We couldn't draw it up better for the Cards.
