RIO DE JANEIRO — A Brazilian judge ordered two U.S. swimmers not to leave the country, according to court documents obtained Wednesday. Ryan Lochte and Jimmy Feigen were ordered to stay in Rio three days after they said they were robbed at gunpoint. Attorney Jeff Ostrow told USA TODAY Sports that Lochte was already back in the United States as of Tuesday afternoon.

Judge Keyla Blank said she based her ruling on inconsistencies in the testimony of the two swimmers, who said they and two teammates were robbed at gunpoint after a late night out.

The whole thing was pretty obvious and it's now apparently totally unravelled. He made it up. They actually broke in a door at a gas station restroom and security stopped them. The guard had a gun, but did not drawit, and they owner of the gas station demanded they pay for the damage to the door so they paid him money and left. It's all on camera. Then Lochte apparently concocted the robbery story to cover so they wouldn't get in trouble with US authorities. at some point he realized the Brazilian authorities were investigating, so he left the country. The other 3 guys are still there, have been detained, and their passports are being held by Brazil.

Lochte looks like a major asshat here it was apparently his idea to lie about it and he literally threw the other 3 guys under the bus and fled leaving them to take the fall. Brazil wants Lochte to return and cooperate in the investigation and he apparently is not cooperating.

It smelled like BS from the beginning, and now it looks even worse. Two swimmers were pulled from a plane according to an ESPN article I saw last night, and this idiot is apparently back in the states. His family and lawyer were still claiming him to be the victim. What a mess.
