WAS has started talks with Harper about an extension. I'd expect other teams to do the same with their big names, except BAL with Machado but I think any team that trades for him will do so intending to lock him up especially if they give up a big package for him. HOU is going to have to make some decisions soon as a lot of their young guys will be coming up for big deals (Kuechel, Springer, Correa, Altuve, Gonzalez plus they still have 3 years of Verlander at $20M a year).
