Rival execs expect the #StLCards to make a legit pitch for #Marlins Marcell Ozuna or Christian Yelich now that the Stanton ship has sailed. It's more of a pure baseball trade and probably more in John Mozeliak's comfort zone anyway.

So MIA gets Castro & 2 prospects (neither was among NY's Top 5 minor league prospects, Guzman was #9, Devers not even in Top 30) for Stanton, ridiculous. The new owner of MIA is the second coming of Loria. I believe MIA even threw in money to get that poor of a package for Stanton, Jeter doing his old team a major solid. Looks like a LAD/NYY World Series is brewing which is a wet dream for MLB front office.
