I like Sexton more. Better scorer and tighter handle IMO.

Oh and Miles Bridges probably should've left last year.

You should take the time to watch Trae Young at OU. He might end up being the best PG of this class.

Allen is such a POS...

I hope he ends up playing in the Ukraine.

Why? I don't follow college hoops all that closely, so I am assuming I am missing something.
He is the new Danny Ainge (the player). Whines, complaints, pouts, trips, cheats if he can get away with it.

He is easily the dirtiest player I've ever seen at the college level. He trips people, he stomps on guys feet, he undercuts guys while they're in the air, he is a shameless flopper, the dude will whack someone and then grab his own face, like he got popped.

Like seriously... the kid is scummy. I hope he never plays in the NBA.

He really is a despicable ball player. Might be a nice kid off the court, but that’s sort of difficult to believe based upon his on-court persona.

Funny thing is that he cries about it--literally. His emotions are absolutely out of control.

If we finish in the bottom five, and get lucky enough that the Miami and Milwaukee picks convey at their highest value this year, I think we really could be in good shape in another year or two. This draft is going to be that solid, and assuming we use those picks well, we really are going to have ourselves a solid young roster by next season. Assuming everything goes according to best case scenario, of course.

Crazy idea but one I feel merits consideration. Booker seems to be given more control of running the team as he has led the team in assists the last couple of games. My thought is why not let him run PG role with his ability to create for others and himself and bring in another lights out shooter / scorer like Trier to play along side him. Having to defend a 6'5 & 6'6 back court that can shoot from anywhere in the half court will be a major task. Maybe sign or trade for a decent PG back up like Cory Joseph if Ulis doesn't develop. It's saves from having to reach for a PG unless PHX feels Sexton or Duval can develop into all around PG's.

I think we should look to sign or trade for a PG to fill the void until one we draft develops. We should be able to get a good prospect with the 2nd or 3rd pick we have in the draft this year. I haven't looked to see where the highest rated PG's are slotted in the mock drafts but I imagine there will be a few available in the 10-17 range where the Suns 2nd pick will fall, either from Miami or Milwaukee.

I suppose best case is we can draft Doncic but there are concerns about his defense and also if we'd want to take him over one of the American PF'S or C's at the top of the draft. We have a big hole at both positions and choosing between a top prospect like Ayton of Doncic would be nice but also would be a difficult spot. At that point you work the phones and try and get the pick immediately after the one you're about to make so you can snag both. Even if it cost a little extra, like including the 2nd Miami pick and the Bucks pick to get it done.

If we are high enough to choose between doncic and ayton we would have to give up a LOT more than just the 2nd Miami and bucks pick to get the next selection. But that’s what I dream of. I’d trade our 2019 pick, the Miami and bucks pick, chriss and bender to make that happen.

A core of

Doncic
Booker
Jackson
Ayton

Would have us well under way.

I agree, I was just saying you overpay if need be to snag both of them instead of only 1. I don't think the Miami pick and Bucks pick would do it alone but adding those in to be able to throw a godfather offer at the team with the pick we want to make it happen without debate or negotiations is what I would do.

Giannis' little brother Kostas despite modest numbers shows flashes of being Greek Freak 2.0. Freshman playing for Archie Miller at Dayton.

Smith is going to be really good. I was trying to decide if he's draft eligible because I can't find his birthday but I think he is.

he's way too skinny and raw right now but at his size with his skills he still might come out. Moved up a year from highschool so was kind of under the radar recruit. The pros that play at UCLA every summer apparently were pretty much unanimous they thought he was the best pro prospect on the UCLA team.

He is one of those kids who grew late so he was a guard his whole life and suddenly he's 6'8" or 6'9". Really nice passer for his size, we're sort of debating who to compare him to on UCLA boards so far Ariza seems like a popular comparison.

He's not strong enough yet in the Georgia Tech game he was a little overmatched physically but he's got lots of upside.
