We are lucky to have a former offensive lineman as a manager
We all thought we got a steal but looks like the other 31 teams were right.
Thank God he was NFL ready.
He was placed higher in the draft by most scouts assuming he could pass a physical. I can’t fault Keim for taking the gamble. There aren’t any sure things at that point.
I don't know if I blame Keim but this is twice I've been told of serious health issues about a player the Cards have drafted and both times neither made the team out of camp. The other was the WR from A&M a few years ago that had serious concussion issues.I can't blame him for this one. Thought he was a steal at that spot. Boy, was I wrong. I'll continue to blame Keim for Chad Williams, and other mistakes in the draft, but not this one.
I think arguments works if you have ever drafted an offensive linemen who has panned out...Keim has not in 5 years.
All of the experts said he would be a first round pick if it weren't for his health issues. I think he had issues picking up a playbook. Not sure what he had for one in college.

Also, why are people on Chad Williams? He's a 3rd round pick from a small school. Hell, 1st round picks from big schools don't get on the field often for the Cards their rookie year. Give the guy a chance.
