2017 Cardinals Draft Challenge

We are less than two weeks away from the big day! I wasn't satisfied with the contest I held last year, so I made some tweaks. Last year nobody was able to correctly guess more than one, so I created the following scoring system below that will hopefully produce more correct answers.

1st Pick: 1 Player(10pts) 2 Players(5pts) 4 Players(2pts)

2nd Pick: 2 Players(10pts) 4 Players(5pts) 8 Players(2pts)

3rd Pick: 3 Players(10pts) 5 Players(5pts) 10 Players(2pts)

4th Pick: 3 Players(10pts) 5 Players(5pts) 10 Players(2pts)

5th Pick: 4 Players(10pts) 8 Players(5pts) 12 Players(2pts)

6th Pick: 4 Players(10pts) 8 Players(5pts) 12 Players(2pts)

7th pick: 4 Players(10pts) 8 Players(5pts) 12 Players(2pts)

I will be scoring based off of the number of picks instead of round to make less confusing in case of trades. For each of the seven picks you can choose to nominate one of three quantities. The more players you nominate, the less points you get if correct and vice versa. If a player you choose is selected by the Cardinals, but not the right pick they were nominated for, you will be awarded half credit. I am only going to score for the first 7 picks. Although you can still get half credit if a player you chose is drafted later.

The irony is that the 1st pick usually is easiest to nail, and it gets tougher and tougher with each ensuing selection.

Reason is pretty obvious - the later the pick, the more players are already off the board.
