I like Woj a lot. but some of this is just silly. There is zero need for the Suns to waste an asset to move Chandler. Suns are literally almost $18M under the minimum team salary, and $28M under the cap. Unless Tyson actually wants to leave and play for a contender, there is no reason to trade him, let alone waste an asset to do so.

Totally agree. Chandler is an asset unless the Suns want to trade him. Also Knight's salary is starting to look reasonable.

The Suns best option may be to trade Knight to another team for an equally bad asset with the hope both players thrive in different environments.

He could be. Just two players struggling in their present surroundings. The funny thing is that about a year ago this trade would have made much more sense than now. Both teams have filled needs that these players could have met.
