I HATE THIS SCHEDULE!!!! SIX EARLY GAMES!!! GARBAGE!!
Aside from strength of schedule issues, I like the six early Sunday games because the later Sunday afternoon games (which start at 4pm-4:30pm in the east) conflict with dinner arrangements with our non-football loving friends and family.

we started like 8 straight seasons at home after we got the dome.

No we did not.

4 home and 4 away. 3 of the first 5 seasons in the dome we started on the road.

Going beyond that: 5 of our first 8 seasons in the dome we played 2 of our first 3 on the road. 3 of our first 8 seasons in the dome we played 3 of our first 4 on the road.

Not griping in general (don't care personally as we go to all of the home games regardless) but griping in the context of the league pushing for a stadium and claiming it was partially so they could schedule more early season games in Arizona. They claimed the reason we started on the road previously was due to playing in Sun Devil Stadium and the early season temperatures. That was BS.

I like the schedule. If we're playing well enough then we could get some of those early start away games flexed (Washington, Houston). The games against the Lions, Colts & Texans are central time so that should help too (shorter flights)... only Washington & Philly are early start east coast games.

I like that we have the bye after London & that our 2 toughest NFC East opponents (Dallas & NY) are home games.

The 2 Seattle games will be the toughest (as always) with it being Thursday night & then the last game of the season. We have an advantage in that Thursday night game with it being a home game.

I'm sure the NFL is secretly tweaking their schedule just to screw the Arizona Cardinals for some reason.

cry me a freaking river.

This schedule is bull freaking ****! The NFL does realize we are in a dome now, right!? 5 games on the road in the first 8 weeks (games), including London time by followed amotjer roadie? Ridiculous.
As I said, the Eagles who play on the East Coast has 4 of their first 6 games on the road meaning most of their home games are going to be when the weather starts to get colder.

Wolfley was ranting about how hard it is for West Coast guys to play early games this morning. The Cards have 6 of those. The Niners and Rams 5. The Hags 1.

Seems a bit screwy for sure.

I like the first 2 road games. Both are within a 3 hour drive for me. For those who haven't been, Indy is a very underrated and fun city.

They aren't screwing the Cards on purpose as much as tweaking the schedule to create the best TV match-ups, and the Cards are collateral damage.

How the freak does Seattle only get ONE early game ALL year?

The better you are, the more you will want to be seen in prime time. Also not hard to understand the schedule makers.

Gints may have the worst of it....

Overall, the Giants might have the NFL's least enviable schedule, based on ESPN senior analytics specialist Brian Burke's analysis. They'll have an NFL-high four games against teams coming off their bye and a net total of minus-22 days of rest compared to their opponents. (The next-highest lack of rest days belongs to the Detroit Lions at minus-12.

Because they're a perennial playoff team that drives ratings and thus the league wants them at later start times.
Self-fulfilling phophecy... provide em' with cake/ biased schedule and that's what you get.

The more the NFL does this, the closer to the WWE they become.

By cake are you talking strength of schedule? If you are, this kinda contradicts that idea.

2016 preseason SoS and actual SoS.
