The Lakers acquired Reggie Bullock from the Pistons for Svi Mykhailiuk and a future 2nd round pick.

xc_hide_links_from_guests_guests_error_hide_media

Los Angeles Lakers receive:
G Reggie Bullock

Detroit Pistons receive:
Svi Mykhailiuk
Future second-round pick

Instant analysis: The Lakers add some needed guard depth with the addition of Reggie Bullock. The sixth-year guard averaged 12.1 points, 2.5 assists and 2.8 rebounds over 44 games with the Pistons this season. He should be able to help the Lakers' depth chart as they wait for starting point guard Lonzo Ball to return from injury.

Rookie Svi Mykhailiuk didn't receive much opportunity with the Lakers during his first 39 games in the NBA. The 6-foot-8 guard was selected with the 47th pick of the 2018 NBA Draft and averaged 3.3 points in just 10.8 minutes per game with Los Angeles.

Clippers & Sixers make a big deal that includes Tobias Harris and more....

Philadelphia 76ers receive:
F Tobias Harris
C Boban Marjanovic
F Mike Scott

LA Clippers receive:
F Wilson Chandler
F/C Mike Muscala
G Landry Shamet
2020 first-round pick
2021 first-round pick (from Miami)
Two future second-round picks (from Detroit)

Instant analysis: The Sixers continue to go all-in on the 2018-19 season with the addition of Tobias Harris. The eighth-year NBA forward is averaging career-highs of 20.9 points, 7.9 rebounds and 2.7 assists in 34.6 minutes over 55 games with the Clippers this season. Alongside Joel Embiid, Ben Simmons and Jimmy Butler, Harris and the Sixers could have enough talent to make a run for the Eastern Conference title. Harris, along with Butler, are both unrestricted free agents this summer.

For the Clippers, they add two valuable first-round picks that could be used in another trade before Thursday's deadline. Rookie guard Landry Shamet has also been impressive during his first season in the NBA with averages of 8.3 points on 44.1-percent shooting from the field and 40.4-percent from 3-point. Wilson Chandler and Mike Muscala both have contracts that will expire this summer.

The Trailblazers acquired Rodney Hood from Cleveland.

Portland Trail Blazers receive:
G Rodney Hood

Cleveland Cavaliers receive:
G Wade Baldwin IV
G Nik Stauskas
Two future second-round picks

Instant analysis: Portland ranks seventh in 3-point percentage (36.2 percent) but is tied for 17th in 3-pointers made (574) and is 20th in that category since 2019 began. Enter Hood, who has made 110 or more 3-pointers in three straight seasons. Although he only has 55 3-pointers this season, Hood should get more open looks as a complimentary player in Portland than the near go-to guy he was in Cleveland. He's also an unrestricted free agent next summer, which gives Portland a way out should the trade flop.

For the Cavs, they acquire future assets (the Draft picks) and two players on expiring contracts (Stauskas and Baldwin) who did not figure much into the Blazers' rotation. Perhaps they can shine anew in Ohio.

Suns traded Ryan Anderson to Miami for Tyler Johnson and Wayne Ellington

Phoenix Suns receive:
G Tyler Johnson
G Wayne Ellington

Miami Heat receive:
F Ryan Anderson

Official Release: Suns

Instant Analysis: Tyler Johnson may not be a pure point guard, but he does add some much-needed backcourt toughness to a Suns team that ranks 29th in defense. Ellington would provide an upgrade to the league's worst 3-point shooting team as well, but reports indicate the veteran sharpshooter will be waived and allowed to join a team of his choosing. As for the Heat, they gain significant tax savings and come that much closer to becoming an offseason player sooner than later.

The Bulls acquired Luwawu-Cabarrot from OKC.

Chicago Bulls receive:
G/F Timothé Luwawu-Cabarrot
Cash considerations

Oklahoma City Thunder receive:
Protected 2020 second-round pick

https://www.nba.com/thunder/news/release-draftpick-190201

Instant analysis: The 6-foot-6 swingman Luwawu-Cabarrot offers some intrigue for a young Bulls squad looking toward the future. For the Thunder, they will be saving $7.3 million toward the luxury tax with the trade.

I think the key to this deal is that the Clippers opened up a lot of salary space at the end of the season.

The Sixers traded Malachi Richardson for cash, basically.

Philadelphia 76ers receive:
G Malachi Richardson
2022 second-round pick
Draft rights to Emir Preldzic

Toronto Raptors receive:
Cash considerations

Instant analysis: The Sixers continue to be busy before the NBA's trade deadline. The addition of 6-foot-6 guard Malachi Richardson helps solidify the Sixers' bench guard depth. The 23 year old averaged just 4.7 minutes over 22 games with the Raptors this season. He was originally drafted by the Sacramento Kings with the 22nd pick of the 2016 NBA Draft.

A deal between Houston, Sacramento, and Cleveland that sends Shumpert to Houston has been completed.

Iman Shumpert goes from Sacramento to the Rockets

Cleveland will send Alec Burks to the Kings

Rockets send Brandon Knight, Marquese Chriss and a protected first to Cavaliers

Houston will send a lottery protected 2019 first-round pick to the Cavaliers in deal

Cleveland will send Nik Stauskas and Wade Baldwin to the Rockets

Knight & Chriss don't even get a mention in the tweet. Looks like Chriss got his wish for a trade though.

Nice thread btw. It's good to have them all in one place.

It seemed like the Around the NBA thread had a good amount of other talk going on and depending on how many posts you can view per page it would be easy to miss some trades posted there. Should have got this up sooner but I didn't expect trade day to kick off 24 hours early.

Harris is an awesome fit there. They should’ve made this move earlier and just not traded their depth guys for Butler.

The Mavericks aren't done dealing, looks like they're sending Barnes to Sacramento. I like Barnes fit on the Kings but I wonder what they'll give up.

Oh wow, that is a weird trade unless it gives the Mavs enough cap room for a max contract next summer.

No way. They just took on all of NYs salary in exchange for their expiring deals.

Yeah but they flipped Barnes for an expiring contract and a rookie deal. I just looked and Hardaway Jr. and Courtney Lee cost about $31M combined, Powell $10M, Luka is under $8M, and KP is at $7.5M. Three scrubs combine for around $3M, plus Jackson is about $3M. That's about $62-$63M on payroll next year. They will be in great shape.

So what they traded Barnes while the game was happening tonight? That game finished like 30 minutes ago.

I guess it's not official, but he was playing when it got reported. I just started watching that game.
