But I thought if all those QB needy teams passed on a guy it proves he isn't any good? ;)

Same with Dan Marino, look how badly his career went after sliding on draft day.

No guarantee he'll be good but lots of guys slide and wind up being good players

Stud! I think he’s better than Aikman coming out. If he avoids the injury history we’re going to be good for awhile  Let us pray please

Thank you Keim time!!!

how rare do you see a Yahoo article that asks:

Did Cardinals Get The Draft's Best QB?

https://www.yahoo.com/sports/2018-n...l-qb-solution-trade-josh-rosen-012043301.html

I still suspect Darnold will be better, he's just a fantastic athlete scratching the surface. But mechanically there's nobody in the draft better than Rosen. Darnold has a tendency to drop the ball before he goes into his throwing motion like Blake Bortles but not that much. If he fails it'll be because of his throwing mechanics IMO.

I think Mayfield has a great arm, but he's small and he holds the ball too long trying to make plays downfield. He's exceptionally accurate but he'll need to learn to throw the ball away in the NFL or he'll take lots of hits and at his size, could be a problem.

I think Allen is very inaccurete, I actually like Rudolph better than him or Lamar Jackson.

As Aikman said he has the highest football IQ of any of the QB's.

I think he's smarter than they are but I think Mayfield has the highest football IQ. Maybe it's a function of the system they played at OU and all the good WR's he got to throw to there but if you tried to blitz him in college he ate you up. He was very good at reading the blitz and finding the open guy.

Josh as a sophomore looked very confused in UCLA's new offense, they actually tweaked it during the season to help. To be fair the OL was horrible and they couldn't run the ball so it wasn't an easy offense to be the QB.

Very good chance we see him this season. I think he'll need time to learn the playbook and get acclimated but he should be a stud as a sophomore.

No one was a bigger diva than Favre so I'm not sure that's much of an issue. If he can play, it won't matter. But for the Cardinals to get one of the best QB's in the draft rather than settling is a huge win.

Rosen may have been arguably the 1st but he was the consensus #2 in this draft from everything I saw. To get the #2 rated QB in the draft from 15 is a huge win. This isn't a project or a reach, this is a true QBOTF and the Cardinals didn't have to mortgage the farm for him.

I'm a Bradford fan so I'm not exactly thrilled about this move for his sake but for the Cardinals? A++++. They couldn't have scripted it any better.

If he was the consensus #2, than why didn't he go #2?

Because he wasn't the consensus #2 that's why.
