Larry's heir apparent as far as character and involvement in the valley. Also an absolute beast.

https://www.azcentral.com/story/spo...-draft-christian-kirk-second-round/560079002/

Kirk, 5-feet-10 ½ inches and 201 pounds, is viewed as a slot receiver, the position Larry Fitzgerald has played in recent years. Kirk and Fitzgerald have been friends for several years and regularly text each other.

“That guy pretty much runs Arizona,” Kirk said of Fitzgerald. “Just to be able to see how he carries himself, (he) is definitely a guy I try to emulate when it comes to character and stuff he does off the field.”

Very good pick and gives us a second great return guy to go with TJ Logan. Here’s our new slot receiver.

Love this pick almost as much as Rosen. Keim is having a great draft so far. Feels good to be a Cardinals' fan.

What’s not to love? We just got a guy that can stretch the field, open the middle and keep opposing defenses honest...which opens up the field for DJ!!!! Add that to the fact we now have two very accurate QB’s and suddenly things are looking up!

Love the pick, had him long gone before our pick, Total playmaker and finally get someone special to handle punt returns.

I laughed at his weaknesses listed on his draft profile on NFL.com. He has a short catch radius and he has to have the ball thrown near his body, needs to play with better knee bend and takes questionable angles on returns.

Still a little bummed about him not going to ASU but staying home as pro is more important, great pick. I was torn between him and Josh Jackson but GB made the decision for us, taking Jackson 2 spots before us.

I agree. I was wanting a taller WR first... but Kirk was a good value pick at the spot and he is a cardinals fan. Cards fans are rare so the team needs to draft them every time they are a fit... need+talent Vs Draft spot... Kirk fits well

still would like to see us grab E.Q. St.Brown...very talented... if not, then maybe Jordan Lasley later, mostly as a comfort thing for Rosen

Love this pick. Great character, work ethic and is a very pro-ready player. Being mentored by Legend for a year, maybe two, and I wouldn't be surprised to see a few pro bowls under his belt and maybe a Walter Payton Man of the Year award.

I had no clue that the Rosen and Kirk families, and their boys, were already good friends.

This is "pinch me" type of stuff.

Seriously? Where did you hear that? Brilliant if true
It was on the local news here tonight. They met at football camps before college, the families got acquainted, stayed in touch, and even visited each other.

Plus, Rosen immediately posted a picture of the two them at a camp, with no one else in the pic, in 2014, right after Kirk was drafted.
