Chase Edmond's combine stats: 5-foot-9, 205 pounds. Ran the 40 in 4.55 seconds. Tied for smallest hands among RBs. Had 19 reps in the bench press. Tied for fastest shuttle among RBs.

Edmonds (5'9, 205) 4.55 ranked in FCs top 10 all-time rushing yards, rushing yards per game, rushing touchdowns, all-purpose yards, and scoring. Played in a run/pass option offense.

Chase Edmonds comes into the NFL with some injury issues. Ankle and hamstring injuries limited to him to 7 games as a senior in 2017. He also sprained his ankle during a practice before the East-West Shrine Game.

It's a bit of a stretch to expect to find a first year starting quality corner at the end of the 4th round. Just have to stick to the board and take the best guy available.

If you are looking for a 2nd or 3rd CB here you are literally searching through a dumpster for the most part. Sure sometimes the law of averages work for you but 95% of the time you aren't going to find a good corner at this spot in the draft.

I think we are really getting a good look at the offense McCoy & Wilks want to run. Fast pace, RPO, dumps to backs, WR screens, and deep shots to JJ & Fitz.

I'm fine with it but damn..... I think McVay and Shannahan are going to be better than us at it. But what do I know.

I didn't say it was, but they clearly didn't have a remaining corner rated as highly as they had Edmonds on their board.

Don't sleep on him. He is an outstanding RB. Lousy blocker but does everything else you like a RB to do. Shifty, explosive and very fluid in and out of cuts. Very capable receiver out of the backfield.
