Take the BPA and worry about the rest earlier. LOL

It's been a long day and the Suns still have #59.

I'd actually be fine with them just selling #59. How many under 21 guys do they have now?

For what, 75 cents? If there's a player on the board there that anyone wants, they can just recruit them as an undrafted free agent two picks later. The #59 pick has almost no value at all.

He cant shoot.

Yeah he's not a great shooter but he got better at SC and my understanding is he's been working with a shooting coach since he dropped out of USC and has shot better in workouts. I know someone close to the Warriors who claimed they were very high on him, guess they were bluffing.

I googled it he's been working with Drew Hanlan the shooting coach same guy who's been in all the videos with Bamba.

I watched a couple of Bridges interviews. I don't think he was all that keen on playing for the 76ers. I think his mom was excited but not him.

Dallas gave up
Top 5 protected first.
that's a lot to give up for 2 spots
considering they'll stink next year and they could have had Young or Bamba and kept the pick
but that's Cuban. ballsy. and greedy. he had to walk away with the prize

Yeah, I mean I certainly would take him. Whats the downside in the 2nd? You know hes potentially a ++ defender at the 1 and 2. If he improves his jumper, hes a rotation guy.

Let's stash #59 overseas and see what happens. I so dislike selling draft picks. The Suns have been there and done that.

Out of HS lots of UCLA fans were complaining we should have taken him and my biggest issue was he's not a good shooter and he wants to play PG so with Lonzo coming in and Holiday already there it made no sense. But I actually like him better than Holiday long term now. I remember Lonzo in an interview last year being asked about defenders and they were trying to get him to say Fox was the best defender he'd played against in college and he said De'Aaron is good but DeAnthony Melton was by far the best defender I faced in college.

Really interesting to me he is still on the board, Diallo got picked ahead of him another kid who's not a good shooter, better athlete than Melton but Melton is a better player IMO. Gotta be something, I know he told reporters after his Lakers workout that teams ask about the FBI story, he answers and they all seem satisfied.

Someone's going to get a steal with that kid IMO

It sounds obvious, but picks further in the future have less value than current picks.

I love Bridges! I hate losing that pick, but I wouldn't be surprised if Bridges ends up being the best player from this draft.

The compensation is iffy, the positions are not.

yeah... you keep saying this, but they're both 6'7 3s and very undersized 4s. Neither of them are Draymond which allows the Warriors to play as small as they do.

look... I think Mikal is going to be a really good player. I just think we already had that position locked down and I really don't like getting rid of that pick with absolutely zero protection.

Didn't realize this until I saw it in a tweet, but we traded both picks we got from Dragic to get back the pick we traded for Knight.

Ryan McDonough at his finest!

Love him too very good shooter and defender. Not sure he'll be the best player but I'd be very surprised if he's not a good NBA player.

tell that to the Celtics who have been able to parlay their mountain of picks into what looks like a likely 15-20 year run.

I hope Bridges ends up being the bees knees and he and Josh can start together, but people have stop comparing McD to Danny Ainge when it looks like he almost always gives up too much in trade or gets too little back.

I mean, you guys do realize that Bridges was THE LAKERS PICK we got rid of for that piece of dogcrap Knight, right?

Houston took Melton, not only did the Warriors not get him, he went to the team that nearly beat them this year.
