At the half, the Mercury lead 42-35. DeWanna Bonner leading the way with 18 points and has 7 rebounds.

Seattle had brought it to within 1 point, but Phoenix opened it up again.

Mercury demolish Seattle 86-66, outscoring them 26-10 in the 4th quarter. Game 4 in Phoenix Sunday at 2:00 PM on ESPN2.

Bonner with 27 points and 11 rebounds. Griner with 21 points and 11 rebounds. And Yvonne Turner, starting due to injury, with 19 points, 7 rebounds and 6 assists.

Taurasi with 8 points (all in the 4th quarter), 7 rebounds and 3 assists. 'Great to see a big 3 come through with Diana not a factor tonight.

Oh, jeez. The Mercury are down 31-16 after the 1st quarter in this possible elimination game.

Taurasi is getting swarmed and has still not scored. She has eight points in the past five quarters.

I hate to be pessimistic, but is her age catching up with her at this point of the season?

She's up to ten points and Seattle's lead is down to 10 with 2:03 to go in the 1st half.

Brianna Stewart hits her teammate Sue Bird in the nose and she has gone into the Seattle locker room. She has broken her nose multiple times.

Mercury just aren’t hitting our shots. Seattle was up to 71% FG at one point. I fully expect us to go on a run. This game is winnable, especially with Sue being out. Need to step up our D tho.

It is down to this. The Mercury down by 5 at the end of the 3rd quarter. With Sue Bird out injured so far, even down by a few, this is the Mercury game to lose.

And Sue Bird is back on the bench, but with a broken nose.

It is a 1-point game.

The Mercury has to watch its fouls.

Mercury playing well. Refs with a horrible call on DT at the end there. Nice to see Turner stepping up. I love Little’s defense and rebounding.
