Well, you also think that Cam Johnson has a shooting motion too slow to get a shot off... so I think your idea of athleticism is too out of touch to debate.

You're talking to the guy who was 100% positive that Ja Morant would be no more than Isaiah Canaan. He can't make legit NBA comparisons because that doesn't fit his MO of crapping on the player or team. Anyone linked to the Suns will get some laughable comparison because he doesn't care about being accurate, he only wants to start arguments and spread negativity.

In other words, you can't, so instead you choose to try to deflect...

That isn't a deflection, it as an assessment of your ability to judge athletic skills. I don't feel the need to get side tracked into an inane discussion of Jeff Hornacek's athletic ability when you've proven that your assertions have no basis in fact.

And yet not a single poster on this board has even attempted to name a single player comparable to Jeff Hornacek who is even a rotation player in the NBA. Hmmm...

I admit it appears like I was very wrong on Morant, and I might or might not have been wrong on Cam Johnson (as his shot looks awful one game and great the next, though I was absolutely right in that he can't do anything other than shoot).

Turns out I was also very right on Reed, Bender, Harrison, Canaan, Mike James, Tyler Johnson, Ryan Anderson, Saric, Igor Kokoskov, etc....

Has somebody mentioned JJ Redivk yet, as the answer to the riddle. Or does nobody care? I'm good either way happy Thanksgiving

Next riddle. What gets wetter and wetter the more it dries?

A towel, of course.

There have been some paper towels I've tried that get wetter,
but don't dry. :)

I started to name Reddick but figured he'd be tossed out because he's taller. And the answer: a towel.

Because it doesn't matter, you create this biases and then make up utterly insane logic to back them.

Yeah, there are a ton of players less athletic than Jeff Hornacek, but instead of naming them I would ask you to watch Hornacek highlights and convince yourself that guy couldn't play in this league.

You've never even admitted how idiotic your statement that Cam Johnson couldn't even get his shot off in this league... and you said that when he was already sporting a high 30s three point percentage.

There is no point in arguing your points because they lack merit on their face.

Little surprised by this but apparently the G-League players are seeking to unionize soon, possibly linking up with the NBA Players Association as well. I thought the 2 were linked up already but I guess they're not. It seems the G-League supports it's players forming a union, which is good, and if they do link up with the NBA-PA then maybe we'll be a little closer to it being a real minor league system in the near future.

There is some info on the move here. The article also covers some salary info for G-Leaguer's and touches on those new "Select" contracts that will be available for certain big time prospects that choose to go the G-League route instead of college while waiting for the NBA Draft.

An MLB like minor's system just makes so much sense for the NBA. So many players get drafted at such a young age and are immediately thrown into a big role.

Wonder what ramifications this could have on guys going straight to the NBA from high-school. There is enough basketball talent out there that a true minor league system could work quite well.

Yeah, I just caught the end of that interview.

Probably too late to get a team for this season but he made it clear we will have one ASAP.

I'm curious whether it'll be back in Precott Valley or if they'll put it here in the Valley somewhere.

I can see a casino showing an interest in hosting a G-League team.

Who owns the players rights if we have our own team? We don’t have enough two ways. Should be like minor league baseball teams.

Yep. That would make the g-league much more interesting and useful. It would also make it easier for non-college players to enter the league. Really don't know why the NBA has not done this.

Host of the players will be signed to standard G-League contracts and will be available to any NBA team who wants to sign them. Players who have contracts with the Suns will not be available to sign with another team unless the Suns waive them though.

For instance, they could assign Saben (2-way contract) and Camary (standard contract) and still hold their rights. Any other players (like players from the Suns Summer League team) would be fair game for everybody.

That sucks for the team but benefits the players. They need a new system… as a fan I would attend or watch g league games if I knew my team had an investment in every player on the team. At least the ticket prices are lower:)
