Rubio is an improvement but not a huge one.

Brogdon would have been better (he might have preferred Indiana over Phoenix), Rozier would have been worse.

And Cory Joseph would have been worse as well.

Rubio falls in the "better than nothing" category. I just don't know if that is worth $17 million per season when we could have paid $21.25 million per season for Brogdon...

There's a post on the other thread that $17 mil doesn't crack the top 20 of NBA point guards.
