The last time Boston played Shaq and Barkley were saying Boston needed to blow up the team after they get eliminated. Kenny asked them what that meant to clarify, and both of them said that team needed to be rebuilt. Both Shaq and Barkley were saying that Boston team would never get past the first round. I know Ainge is either in the hospital or at home after his heart attack. I wonder what he thinks if he is watching the playoffs?

Tough to say, its either Kyrie or assets that will be dealt. You cant bring in AD if Kyrie isn't there. And the assets acquired might get you into the playoffs (like they did without Kyrie last year) but they will not win you a championship.

Curry: Ankle, Finger
Thompson: Ankle
Iggy: Knee

This is why you need a productive bench. Oh well, still going to win. :D

I'm hearing Iggy is worse than they are letting on and if you're reading the stories the Warriors made it really clear to the NBA they think Paul made a dirty move when he injured Iggy and they think he should have been fined and given a T after the fact for a reckless play.

This happened with 11 seconds left, harden missed a FT and Paul tried to get the rebound and in the process as Iggy jumps, Paul essentially knees him in the back of the knee as he twists to try and get inside Iggy which hyperextended the knee. Iggy apparently left that night with a "pronounced limp". Kerr says he'll start tonight it'll be interesting to see how healthy he is.

If they didn't have enough motivation losing the last 2, maybe this will get them over the hump.

This is the series for the Warriors IMO, if they lose tonight it's over.

Hoping the real Klay Thompson finally shows up

Need to insert Jordan Bell in first quarter and have him fight Paul.

No if you want a fight put in Quinn Cook, at least I think it's Cook I might be confusing him with another backup guard we had recently but one of them has been boxing for years as a training method. Pretty sure it was Cook.

We could loan you Ricky Sobers but he's getting a little old.

The man was Calvin Murphy whose nickname was "Little Muhammad". I forget which player it was, Kevin Kunner maybe, but Murphy knocked him out with one punch the guy was a foot taller than Calvin. Same thing he used to box for training to improve his hand speed. Now that I think of it I think about it'm completely wrong it wasn't even a guard it was David West.

I remember that. I think Calvin was older, too.

Did you guys see what happend to Serge Ibaka? He takes an elbow to the head from Kawi Leonard and had to leave the game to get stiched up. He comes back, and two minutes from checking back into the game, a player from the opposing team hits him in the jaw and almost knocks him out! Poor guy.

My memory is going bad. Murphy decked John Brown and Sidney wicks. Kunnert was the guy who was in a fight against the Rockets when Kermit Washington broke Tomjanovich's face with a punch.

Murphy was on the court, in fact Rudy T said one of the reasons he ran to the skirmish was he wanted to get there and break it up before Murphy got there and decked someone.

Horford's end of half tantrum would have been an instant ejection in a regular season game.

Bledsoe's defense is making Irving look like a bum.

I hope the Suns got a good look at Rozier and Smart so we don't chase after them.

James Jones is starting to buy solid credibility with me. Throwing big money at either of those guys would throw a lot of cold water on that for me.

We agree. With McDonough gone and whatever ties he had left with the Celtics, I doubt it happens.

So the keep telling us the rockets are driving by Curry with impunity. Meanwhile 4 of the 5 baskets by the Warriors were scored against Harden who has already gotten away with 2 fouls on shots that went in. Yes they are attackign Curry, and meanwhile the Warriors have finally decided to attack Harden and they are making it work

That is the Klay Thompson we have been waiting for all series. They are attacking Harden left and right on defense tonight

I would have T'd him up. That ref deserves kudos.

Kerr stumbled on this late in game 4 with Durant on Harden. I don't think KD can stop him either but the big difference is because of where Harden plays on offense, away from the rim, it puts KD in a much better position in transition. They've already got 3 buckets in transition goign right over Harden to Durant by doing it.

Now if Curry will just get it going, Klay is rolling need Curry
