Also, splitting our MLE and giving only a one year deal signals to me that Robert Sarver is penny pinching again.

Depends - Defensively against other centers it absolutely is an upgrade over Saric - and that is what we really needed.

Anything Saric can do, Cam Johnson can do better in most situations.
