When the window is open the goal has to be a championship. That's why they are paying Chris Paul huge dollars. I believe a team has to improve each season to even stay even. IMO, as of now, they have not done enough to improve.

This. 100 times this.

Kanter would be a nice player to add since he has played 4/5 in the past. He is a better Dario Saric, but probably a bit worse on D.

Kanter knows how to score, rebound and he occupies a lot of space. I'd like to have him. His positives outweigh any negatives.

It wouldn't surprise me if the Suns didn't apply for the disabled player exemption for Dario.
Why? Only reason to not apply for it is if Dario is healthy and ready to play BEFORE June 15th (Game 7 of Finals will be NLT June 17th).

The DPE does NOT count against the cap, so if Saric is out for season it makes ZERO sense not to file for and use it.

I am observing for now. He has said he is going to knock it off so we will see.

Also, people can stop responding to him / put him on ignore / ect...

I don't understand all the Kevin Love hate. If its between Love and Frank the Tank on a minimum deal, I think it's a pretty easy choice.

If the Suns have center depth it helps compensate for lack of size at power forward when Ayton goes to the bench.

The Suns could even throw on the twin tower look in specific situations.

Still the Suns could use another power forward.

Best I can do is a Frank Kaminsky.

Seriously, we're talking 3rd string Center. Those guys will want rotation roles.

I know, stick with the Tank. Its a no brainer. ;)

Kevin Love is done and a bad teammate. He's been awful in Cleveland openly quitting on his team in the middle of games. No thanks. I'd rather have a guy we know won't disrupt chemistry and is well liked by everyone in the locker room. Frank is a solid 3rd stringer also. He had some good games last year, even being a big part of a couple of winning streaks.

I think having twin centers out there is a problem the way the offense is built. McGee doesn't stretch the floor and you are going to clog up the lane for your guards. That won't work IMO. Their priority has to be another PF IMO.

I see Lopez and Kanter as second string centers over McGee.

It would only be for a specific situations not a regular part of the offense.

Just say no to Frank. The ONLY thing he's been consistent with is.....being inconsistent. We need big bodies at the backup 4/5 that are consistent players, even if it's only at 1 or 2 things like defense, rebounding, offense, setting screens, passing, etc. There are much better options out there.

I see Lopez and Kanter as second string centers over McGee.

Kanter is a terrible defender and Robin isn't as mobile as McGee.

I would have taken Kanter over McGee but we're not going to pay someone less than McGee to move ahead of him on the depth chart. He signed here as our backup Center. He likely had many other suitors offering similar roles and money and chose us. Pushing him to 3rd string for another veteran won't be a good look.
