It's possible that Hayes was higher on their Board, but they thought that Hayes (or another IOL) would be available in the seventh round. But not any CB's that they liked.

To be fair, the last time I remember Keim taking an old, small school guy, it was also a CB and he was a player. If this kid is 85% of what Greg Toler was, it was a damn good pick. Never heard of Saint Paul’s before or since.
