Bruce Brown is declining his player option with the Nuggets. I can't say it was unexpected, as he had a good playoffs.

The Nuggets will probably do everything they can to keep him.

Uh. You are a Suns fan. Same problem.
No doubt Suns have had some injury issues but acquiring a superstar IN THEIR PRIME, getting rid of them in short order and bringing in washed up HOF is a bit different. Plus, the Clips have been snake bitten by injuries it seems for a couple decades.

Manning, Cummings, Billups, Griffin, Leonard, George and that's not even the old timers. Walton, Archibald, Nixon....talk about a curse.

Do they have full bird rights? If so they will probably keep him at just about any cost.

I think there is mutual desire for Brown to return to the Nuggets.

I think they can only offer him 7.7M or something like that. No brainer decision for him. He's was good in BK prior to Denver too. He'll get paid.

I saw a podcast, and early bird rights sound like what you describe. They can only go up to 125% of salary. The Bird rights they can go all the way up to the max if they want. Big difference.

That's correct. They talked about him on nba radio last week, he was gone despite his words implying additional seasons with Denver

You would think another guard is heading to Boston in this deal.

The Nuggets reportedly plan to trade for draft picks with the Pacers.

Well that takes them out of the Ayton sweepstakes.

Good move for the Celtics even though I don't love Porzingis, but he fits their style of play very well.

Rumors are Portland is thinking about trading the #3 for Paul George or Zion.

Dumb if you ask me, Scoot is more of a sure thing by far in terms of availability and could easily be just as valuable as either of those guys when they play.

They should trade Dame and rebuild.

Good he will be tough for them to replace - pretty sure that is what the pick is supposed to do.

I heard Portland could have traded for Ingram. That's the trade they should make.

After this is all over, the league office might want to look to protect the Wizards.

They're one of the dumbest franchises in the league.

They are not cheap, they're just stupid. Almost annually they either pay out or acquire one of the worst contracts in basketball.

Poor Dame.

Those two trades they made to the Pelicans and Clippers defied logic.

The Pelicans trade was impossibly stupid. They have nothing left from it except, by extension, the rights to Thybulle. That for CJ and they inexplicably tossed Larry Nance Jr in as well. Bonkers.

So would you have traded Ayton straight up for Brogdon + Gallinari? I wouldn’t have.
No, because we need a center replacement. If we had one, I would have considered it. I like Brogdan quite a bit.
