Paul is completely unreliable.

Not only is he almost guaranteed to get injured in the playoffs, he only plays well in 1 out of every 4 or 5 games. I can't help but laugh when I see Iguodala say the Warriors can win a title this year because of him. He will not think that way 20 games into the season.

I am so happy he is not on this team anymore.
The biggest issue I had with Paul is how slow he plays. I'm sure part of it is age/energy conservation, but his reluctance to push the pace left a lot of easy baskets on the table.

Wembanyama impressive in the first quarter against Warriors. 12 points 3 blocks in 7 minutes. One block was a 3 by Klay he then ran ahead and dunked it. He blocked 2 three pointers seemed like he was 10 feet away and blocked them.

Vessell looks great this year.

I can’t imagine what he’s gonna look like in 3-4 years.

Watching this bill Simmons pacific division preview and I think his takes are horrible.

he thinks the lakers are the third best team in the league he thinks cp3 is going to be a difference maker for the warriors, and he basically thinks the suns suck.

I almost can’t disagree with him more.

I think the interesting thing I see with him is shot selection. he's NOT a good 3 point shooter, mechanically he's a good shooter so he probably will become a good shooter but he only shot 27% from 3 last year and his preseason is similar. He's a VERY good shooter to about 18 feet. Seems to me they're eventually going to have to tell him stop shooting so many 3's, at least this year, because when he's in his range he's pretty tough to stop.

It was funny, he did an interview before the playoffs where CP3 noted how good the offense looked under Cam Payne paying with a faster pace. Then he comes back from injury and immediately plays SLOW! It's not like he wasn't aware of the pace issue! That made me double infuriated with him. GS is not going to want to play slow. Dude, you have handles, use them!

"THere's a difference between selling the call and flopping?" Um, yeah, it's called flopping!!

He flopped. The funny thing is Fox flopped twice after that and got calls and CP3 and him were exchanging comments about that. It's like you can't flop(CP3) and then complain when the guy on the other side does it too.

Tough for me, CP3 has is a HOF player but his flopping has always rubbed me the wrong way and now he's on my team.

Bill Simmons is a major tool and always has been. He is the worst homer of anyone in the "national" media and pretty much always has an ax to grind... and never passes up an opportunity to do so.

The Grizzlies will lose Steven Adams for the season due to season-ending surgery.

The Grizzlies also start the season without Brandon Clarke.

Also, Ja Morant was suspended 25 games.

That is a big blow. Not just for their defense but he is their team leader.

With how competitive the west is likely to be again this year the grizzlies could find themselves basically out of it before these guys get back.

The Grizzlies added Marcus Smart to cover for Ja. They'll miss Adams but I think they'll be fine.

They're down 3 of their top 6 rotation guys right now, that is a big blow.

I just took a peek at their projected rotations right now. Yikes. They're currently starting Zaire Williams and Xavier Tillman... those are 2 borderline rotation guys on most teams.

And they have the last 2 Defensive Players of the Year starting for them still. They've always been a defensive team that does better when Ja is out. I think they'll be fine in the regular season. They'll struggle more in the postseason when the game breaks down and you need someone to produce but they'll have Ja and Adams back by then, likely Clarke as well.

No, I don't think they will be ok. They needed Adams and Clarke to rebound for them.

West is too strong to cripple your way into the playoffs. A team like Dallas or New Orleans will pass them, maybe even San Antonio.

I agree, no Ja, no problem. They are 33-17 without Ja. Bane has improved, add Smart to that core and the idiot has been removed as well.

The Kyrie/Luka experiment isn't working. NO hasn't done crap and has probably been the most disappointing team in the west, a lot depends on chemistry and Zion.

SA has Wemby and Pop, very tough to judge how fast Pop wants to accelerate the team.

Giannis agrees to a three-year max extension with the Bucks.

This takes away the dream of some other NBA teams hoping to acquire him.

I was kind of hoping Ish Smith would be a Sun again someday but it's looking unlikely.
