Everyone has a breaking point. Lillard lasted far longer than most "loyal" players would have.

I get that but he was talking recently about being loyal and not jumping team for a ring. Spoken to management and after day 1 of free agency he wants to jump ship.

If we never helped Booker and he left I would think fans wouldn’t be mad but to do this right away after making comments on being loyal.

Actually he wanted a trade and they talked him out of it and asked him to give them a chance to put talent around him. Paying a top 100 player like he's a top 20 player just showed Lillard that the organization still didn't have a workable plan.

I didn’t know that. Maybe we could move Ayton for him lol

Ayton would have been a better signing (trade) for the Trail Blazers, especially with Nurkic frequently injured.

Lol I said it as a joke. I don’t think we can get much for him to where we are better off keeping him.

This may all change at the trade deadline. His value may increase dramatically. Of course, if Ayton plays well, the Suns likely keep him.

Yeah..... And to do it after day 1 makes no sense. Do the Blazers give Grant that huge bag if they knew this was coming?
Well they shouldn’t have.

this is such BS, Portland management deserves this, they should have never acted like it was his choice in the first place.

They’ve been one of the worst ran teams for a decade now, Dame was good enough to keep it from being obvious.

No deals are official… they should throw Grant’s into a furnace.

Haven't the Lakers run out of money yet? Their salary situation must be huge.

They can re-sign their own own guys now that they are done bringing in outside guys even though they are over cap. They are going to pay apron money but so are a lot of teams. Question is how much is Reeves going to get?

The Suns didn't bring in enough quality players at the trade deadline last season. It's costing them, as some will likely not be re-signed. The Suns are left searching for veteran minimum players.

Reaves will probably get at least $30-40 million, but I haven't studied the situation.

That is a steal compared to the loot other guys have been given. LAL putting in work this offseason. Unfortunately for them unless AD suddenly becomes an Ironman and Lebron finds fountain of youth, it's all for nothing.

That’s the most they could offer straight away.

He could have gotten more if another team had tried to sign him and the Lakers were forced to match but the money wasn’t out there.
