I’m not liking the Grizz body language right now. But hard to beat the Lakers when they get the benefit of the doubt on more than a few times.

This is not the same LA Lakers. I know it's only Game 1 but they look like legit contenders and Morant might be hurt.

It's amazing what the Lakers got for Russell Westbrook and a first round pick: D'Angelo Russell, Jarred Vanderbilt and Malik Beasley.

Also the Lakers got Rui Hachimura for Kendrick Nunn and three second round picks.

If the Lakers first round pick, which is top four protected, is not conveyed by 2027, it turns into a second round pick.

Austin Reaves was an undrafted free agent.

That team completely transformed at the deadline. Austin Reaves emergence was such luck.

I give the Lakers GM credit for these moves. It's amazing how they transformed the team, giving up so little.

Reaves/Hachimura >> Nash/Amare

That was their game plan it seemed, based on their struggles in the play-in. They managed to get hot this game but I wouldn’t count on them to get another win…if the rest of the Grizz weren’t injured.

This Bucks Heat series is the least interesting game of the entire playoffs. Giannis should have fouled out by now.

Ja Morant's status for game 2 is in jeopardy. X-ray results were reported negative.

Wow I didn’t think too much of his slide until he immediately wantedto come out.

Karma for Morant?

No. He got jinxed. The commentators had just mentioned the hand was wrapped up already. Then injury to the hand they had spoken of.

Karma for Giannis though. All those times he barreled in a got the calls, including the one he got hurt on, finally caught up to him.

That's a blow for the Heat because Herro is probably out for the playoffs.
