Trading 2 starters and a rotation forward for 1 guy had a lot to do with it.

Going into the trade deadline our bench scoring was well above the league average.

It would have been nice to get an actual rotation player for Saric instead of Bazley...
The Saric trade was crap. If we’d held on to him and gotten say a Reggie Jackson, this team would have had good enough depth to match anyone.

I am not sure why we are not playing TJ some off the bench. I know he is not a starter, but he should be a decent bench scorer. It seems that our bench is not scoring much primarily because our starters are playing so many minutes.

Luxury tax. It saved like 20 million or something.

They also might have thought they saw something they liked in Bazley... if so, whoops.

I think Bazley will eventually be a player, but I'm not sure if the Suns are patient enough. Also, there is the tax apron.

The logic behind Saric trade is first tax saving, 2nd both Saric and Bazley won't play much this season, 3rd Saric not coming back anyway but Bazley has some potential to become serviceable journeyman like Okogie with a decent 3pt stroke.
A coach better than Monty might know better how to use Ross, in place of Shamet. And Warren.

Atlanta leads by 2 after 3. Could well be a game 7 Saturday!

I don’t know what is going on, but Tatum seems to be a no show in crunch time every time I watch the Celtics.

TJ has the retirement bod going on…. Ross is shooting 34% from 3 this year and is arguable the worst defender in the league. I’ve been tough on Monty but he’s aced his use of the wings so far.

Ridiculous half by the Warriors Steph missed 2 FT's, so many turnovers and missed open 3s and the transition defense was terrible

The only good thing is they're only down 7 should be much worse.

Mike Brown appears to have found something with the smaller lineup, the only success Poole has had in this series is attacking Murray or another bigger player off the bounce, with the smaller lineup they have a guard on Poole and he hasn't been able to do anything, 3 points 1 of 6 and they're punishing him on defense at the other end.

Is Looney always that dirty or was that supposed to be payback for Draymond?

He was just jumping for the ball IMO but yeah that was a bad elbow. They reviewed it and said it wasn't a non basketball play.

I actually think it's another example of a ref making a bad toss, Looney was trying to jump for the ball with his right hand but the toss was off center so he ended up having to use his left hand to get it and the right elbow raised up hit Sabonis.

Huerter is unplayable.

he's kind of their Poole, not making shots and not playing defense. Mitchell and Monk have been better all series. Monk was the key in that first half for them.

Also Murray having another big game I liked him much better the first 3 games when he couldn't make a shot

This sucks we were just told on Warriors halftime that Payton was throwing up in the lockerroom at halftime they're not sure if he'll play. They think it's the same thing he had before that caused him to miss a game. He was huge in game 5. Hope he can play.

Huh? From what I saw and heard it was not reviewed. And they had Steve Jaffe on who said it would have been reviewable but it was too late since play had resumed.

And I guess we're going to disagree on this one too. It looked to be intentional and dangerous to me, like he was channeling Karl Malone.

Sabonis and Huerter are just killing the Kings. If either bothered to show up, they’d be up 15-20.

Payton was late out of the locker room but he is on the bench now with a towel on his head and ice on him so hopefully he can play.

here comes the small Kings lineup

I'm watching the Warriors broadcast not ESPN. We were told when they came back from break they reviewed it and said it wasn't a non basketball play.

Huerter finally made one.

The long rebounds on missed 3's are just killing the Warriors.

This feels like one of those games where Curry is going to have to get white hot to win the game for the W's. Wiggins is doing nothing and with Poole also doing nothing the only scoring is Steph and Klay

Jesus… Sabonis has been woeful. And pretty below average all series.
