No to Mike James, his stats look awful, and he would never get on the court over Payne or Goodwin, or even Saben Lee who it looks like they are keeping as well
That is clearly not a correct statement or the Suns would not have been able to beat Denver twice.
By game 6 KD and Book were exhausted, banged up and probably pissed Ayton had bailed on them. With Beal they won't need to play 45 minutes a night, and quite frankly by game 6 they would be playing to close out the Nuggets if they had Beal for the whole series IMO.The Suns didn't even have a legitimate 5th starter. Booker and Durant carried the Suns.
Think about game 6 against the Nuggets in the playoffs.

You do realize all we need is one fairly decent 3 point shooter to add to our top 4 and it will be practically unstoppable offensively? I can't believe so few people can see that.
Denver really played mostly 7 guys. We will have 7 guys.
Watanabe isn't a very good producer. He was getting about 15 minutes a night and producing only about 5 points per game. By the end of the season they basically pulled him out of the rotation. Mike James was similar in that he was basically getting 18 minutes a night and getting you about 7 points. Neither guy is exciting but beggars can't be choosers.Suns are said to be looking at Mike James and Yuta Watanabe formerly of the Nets.

Dallas practically did it the year they beat us. That's all Dallas fans hung their hat on, that they beat us. Eddie Johnson jokes every once in a while about that banner being hung in their stadium. LOL.Are we hanging a banner because we beat Denver twice? Some people need to let that go. Doesn't matter if we were swept or forced a game 7, we still got sent home. Two wins in the second round is nothing to hang your hat on.

I have read he's a plus defender, and can hit the three. Plus he's younger than most of the vet min guys. Might have potential as a long term guy?You don’t think those numbers would be good off the bench?
The only thing I don't like about two way contracts, is they can't play in the playoffs. I would have liked to see Sabin Lee be able to get on the court, if only to get experience for the first time in an NBA playoff situation. If you are going to let teams have these contracts, they need to let the teams play these guys if needed or wanted.I'm glad to hear confirmed, every NBA team will have (3) two-way roster spots. Some writers were still saying (2).
Let's get some good players that can develop in those spots.

I think, especially since we had an injury to a PG, that Saben Lee should have been let to sub in for CP3. No one could argue that we were going to cheat by playing a better player in CP3's case. An injury sub seems fair at that point.I could have solved the Saban Lee dilemma.

Gambo suggests Keita Bates-Diop and Yuta Watanabe as veteran minimum free agent targets.

Not really. Those are more like spot player stuff than solid rotation players. 15 to 20 minute to produce 5-7 points is not great. Then again maybe they were not getting consistent playing time because of others on the bench. You don’t think those numbers would be good off the bench?
My whole point is we were already close, and I think the same bench and Beal is already enough to put us over the top.Are we hanging a banner because we beat Denver twice? Just think of it like this.Right when I get my hopes up about having the TP MLE, they're quashed. ESPN has another article up and it says we will NOT have the TP MLE. So I give up.
