I hope the Suns give Wadford a look.

Why are they cutting him? Pretty decent numbers for a young guy and under 2 million a year. Might be some issues off the court.

Is it really?

Love shot 33.5% from 3 last year.
Okogie shot 33.5% from 3 last year.

This was not my post.

Btw, Love shot .334 in the regular season and .375 in the postseason from three.

Can’t wait to see the lazy guy that doesn’t run most of the time lol… this must be sarcasm. Our best hope is he can get half a season of good Ayton so his trade value isn’t poo! I have zero faith that Ayton is just gonna turn into a different player than he has EVER been and maintain it!
Plus Vogel wants to run the ball on offense. Ayton isn't exactly that fleet. I see him getting gassed in games.

I remember when the Warriors were frustrated that Robert Parish did not produce up to their expectations, and they expressed frustration with his motivation. So they traded him for the pick that became Joe Barry Carroll.

It is possible to find a player that is less motivated than Ayton. KT is that man.

Now in his defense. He has never mentally or physically fully recovered from his own bout with Covid and the horror that his family endured during that time.
Parrish went on to have a HOF career and was one of the few guys productive at the end of his career. For his size, he made a living beating the opposing center down the court for easy baskets. We really could use a Robert Parrish type player for our center.

Gotta be rough being a blazers fan, almost makes me grateful for every almost great team we ever had

Talent wise, the Trail Blazers had a contending team when they traded away McCollum and Nance Jr., plus so many others.

The players are not the problem. They need to look within the organization.

Looks like NBA free agency doesn't start until 3 pm Arizona time today, June 30th.

Not sure he will. He gets the rebound and the time he gets to half court the ball is in the hoop.
Sometimes the Showtime Lakers were so fast, Kareem just stayed on the defensive end of the court, and took a little break. :)

Was wondering why I wasn't seeing much of anything yet.
You mean by Suns? I see guys getting traded, etc., already today, at least announced. I think we will possibly see Suns resigning guys if their agents don't want to shop around for offers. Then we have no exceptions to offer, and will probably have to let some guys we want not get exceptions to another team, before we can sign them. We will probably have to let the market come to us, unless there is a player we like who is just adamant about coming here for the vet minimum.

I believe teams could officially reach out to players and agents starting at 9 PM our time last night.

This is what I thought. It used to be midnight ET or 9 pm Arizona time.

Now it's 6 pm ET or 3 pm Arizona time on June 30th.

You don't remember the NBA had to open a window where teams could contact players and agents? They have that time today at 3PM to make deals officially, but in the past at midnight big time deals were done, complete with contracts drawn up, and people kept saying that's not possible without tampering. So the NBA opened up an allowable tampering window in the non tampering time. Because everyone was doing it anyway. The NBA just sanctioned it but said they were going to be hardcore on the window. Yeah, right!

Today, teams can only have agreements. They cannot be signed until July 6th 12:01 p.m. ET.
