Its the only part of his game he needs to work on. His form is too great to not be a better shooter.
All true, but we've all seen that kid make shots that break the internet. He looked like a freakin gazelle during parts of the playoffs, he just cant do it alone and now he doesn't have to.

Which is interesting because if you recall he was viewed as a shooter rather than scorer coming into the league. He was a 3 and no D 2 guard, like a Wesley Person. He's grown and developed every other aspect of his game.

He takes too many pull up threes. They account for just over half his attempts but he shoots 30% on them, as opposed to to 44% when he isn't off the dribble.

Hopefully our offense with 3 stars generates more chances for him to catch and shoot.

I reeeeally hope they don't just take turns going ISO.

He did shoot an insane 48% on pull up threes in the playoffs though, and on really high volume. But he was in another world.

In a turn of events, Phoenix is planning to pull the qualifying offer for center Jock Landale, league sources told , which would make Landale a free agent.

Just heard on 98.7 news that Suns have pulled the offer on Jock Landale. He is now a free agent.

The Suns still own Jock's early bird rights. They probably want the option to pay him more.

Couldn't we have paid him whatever we wanted? I believe all this does is clear his cap hold.

Maybe they are trying to clear enough holds to use the partial MLE?

I don't think so. I don't think there is any reason to give up restricted free agency unless you plan on not signing him.

This bums me out. It better mean they have someone else to replace him who is better.

I'm not sure if they can get there (MLE) but I believe the Suns intend to keep Jock.

The Suns want to pay some of their players more for future use in trades.

They are speculating on 98.7 Detroit is offering Landale more money than the suns are willing to pay.

It could also mean the Suns are looking at other options. We just don't know yet.

Suns keep Josh Okogie for the veteran minimum.
