Butler rolled his ankle last night. No wonder Flex started in saying something will happen. Suns and injured players are like peanut butter and jelly.

He left the game due to his ankle but was ruled out and it was said he was ill. Seems strange to sort of change it up. He definitely tweaked his ankle. Perhaps he's just sick of being in Miami.

FWIW, Flex has been talking about the Suns as Butler's preferred trade destination for a while.

The Clippers, Knicks, Lakers and Nuggets are among contending teams who have inquired about Jordan Clarkson on the trade market. The Jazz are seeking a promising prospect and/or draft capital in exchange for Clarkson.

Teams are bracing for the next domino to drop on the trade market from the Nets, more specifically either Cam Johnson or Dorian Finney-Smith.Brooklyn has an extremely strong market for both players developing, but they could continue to wait in order to create bidding wars.

Nets are the in drivers seat, again.

Rival executives believe the Timberwolves will gauge Julius Randle’s trade value amidst their inconsistent start. With Minnesota over the second apron, Randle’s $33.1 million salary would be critical in any potential deal to help rebalance their roster around Anthony Edwards.

Ben Simmons is a player teams will be monitoring as a buyout candidate from the Nets before the trade deadline.Simmons holds no trade value on a massive $40.4 million expiring contract, but there’s intrigue for a potential buyout to join a contender on the veteran’s minimum.

The Kings remain a strong trade suitor for Cam Johnson and Dorian Finney-Smith.Sacramento’s interest is significant for both wings from the Nets, who have a robust market from contending teams. At 13-17, Sacramento is two games back of the Western Conference Play-In race.

If they were smart they'd go after Beal instead. And Nurkic. Come on people, speak it into existence.

Luka Doncic could miss an extended period of time. He suffered a reported strained calf.

He will get at MRI on Thursday.

That's not good. I thought they said it was a heal issue at first. Knowing it's a calf problem is definitely more serious.

I switched off the Wolves/Mavs game to deal with family stuff in the first quarter, around when Luka left. I watched the second half of the Spurs/Knicks and Lakers/Warriors and will say the quality of games has been excellent based on what I've seen. Both games I watched the end are toss ups in the final minute with some spectacular plays.

Man Steph deserves to go out better than this. They made the deal for Schroder who was having basically his best year, and now he can't make a shot.

Steph hits back to back 3's, one over LeBron with just his toes on the ground so he doesn't step out, then a 31 foot catch and shoot off an inbounds.

and then Wiggins just ole's Reaves to the rim for a game winning 3 footer.

That corner three by Curry to bring the Warriors back was incredible and it was well defended.

I don't know how Steph got that shot to go down, but he has been doing it his whole career.

Pat Riley makes it clear, the Heat are not trading Jimmy Butler, so this trade rumor can be taken off the table.

Riley or Flex.... I know who I'll believe.
Neither? I certainly know which of those two has a better chance of knowing what they are talking about but I'm equally confident that Riley would lie without hesitation if he believes it's in his best interests to do so. But in this case, I'd lean towards Riley's direction as it seems to make the most sense (to me).
