OKC has won 12 straight and #1 in NET without Chet. It’s like the best team in the west will be adding adding an all star caliber player from their own team at the deadline. Hartenstein has been amazing for them.

Per ESPN report, Jaden Ivey has suffered a broken fibula in his left leg.

Hope he can come back from this. Those large/long bones don’t always heal straight.

That play was uuuuugly, coming away with only a broken fibula is pretty lucky, looked a lot worse live.

It was not a pretty sight to see, for sure. Ivey was taken off the court in a stretcher.

Playing hardball with Pat Riley isn’t going to work. Jimmy wants out because no teams have cap space to sign him as a FA. He knows Ishbia is crazy enough to give him $100m extension.

What can we do to make Jimmy and Suns fans happy?
I don't think it's a money thing with Jimmy. He's a strange guy. There's been reports going back to when he was in Minnesota that he doesn't spend money frivolously. He drove a mini van while he was there and some teammates would tease him for being so cheap.
I can see his issues in Miami being the culture of the team and losing his love of the game.

It appears Jimmy Butler wants out of Miami and will play anywhere.
Still, some team will have to be willing to pay him going forward.

Teams aren’t willing to “sell the farm” in a potential Jimmy Butler trade. Only a handful of teams with real interest. Houston and Phoenix are the two teams in heavy pursuit with Rockets package centered around draft picks and matching salary and Phoenix with Bradley Beal.

I don't think Houston is really interested, and if they are it's only because they think they can get him cheap - which they might be able to if all they have to do is beat our offer.

The National Basketball Players Association will soon file a grievance to dispute the Miami Heat’s seven-game suspension of Jimmy Butler, sources tell me and
@WindhorstESPN. The grievance process is lengthy, however, and will likely not stop suspension.

I guess they could be miserable together.
It's hard to see a Beal trade working, unless the Suns sweetened the trade and a third team became involved.
Now, if Durant wanted to go to Miami...
The heat are right in the middle of the mix in the eastern standings. I don’t think they would just take picks and move on for the season. They would have to go full tank and I don’t think they can with what still have left and the eastern conference being what it is. They actually would benefit to get a piece back in trade. I don’t see Riley mailing the season in over one player.
