While it would have been nice to get the Branch brothers, I've been very happy with what Kenny and co have done in the portal. Losing basically nobody of consequence while adding some useful pieces is a huge win.
The critical component is not losing anyone of consequence. Fewer roster holes allows Dillingham to build depth to battle those inevitable injuries

Really loving how the success of this past season is carrying over to the offseason and 2025.

Looks like there's going to be some serious competition
Indeed. The outlook for safety seems especially positive with the Wazzu transfer Adrian Wilson joining Rowser and Alford. And Breedlove seems like a viable starting candidate at CB. It will be interesting to see how things play out, assuming no further additions or unexpected losses. The loss of Latterrance Welch is still regrettable, for all concerned, and Cole Martin would have been a good CB to keep. But the Purdue duo helps offset that. Things look pretty strong at the moment, anyway, with good depth and talent.

Yeah we were already returning both of our starting cornerbacks and now bringing in these dudes who also look like starters so we'll have serious competition and good depth and probably a good rotation back there

And I forgot about the youngster Montana Warren, who was "next man up" at nickel, when Simmons was suspended in the CCG.
