The Cards have invested quite a bit on offense in early draft picks and free agency, yet they only managed 6 points against a mediocre Seattle team. It’s hard to see them drafting early for offense with all the defensive holes. Maybe the third round but that pick is very late. Still I think they have to come out of the draft with a speedy WR. They may have to move up. Maybe Jalen Royals, Evan Stewart or Tez Johnson falls that far. Free Agency doesn’t seem to offer much. The first 2 picks likely go for an anchor DT and either a DE or an OLB that offers QB pressure. With a big draft and solid free agents this is definitely a team that should make the playoffs.

I like this!!! I would take Kenneth grant and the best pass rusher on the board in the second round….trey smith would be my free agent target as I feel the interior o line is weak…

I can’t see Travis Hunter going lower than second.

He's amazing the only question on him is still the obvious one, is he a WR or a CB or both? I don't think you can play both in the NFL and survive very long. I think his best long term position is probably defense but he's better right now on offense.

Scouts are saying it's not just the physical but the NFL is so incredibly intricate and detail oriented they can't fathom how someone could play both ways effectively.

Could he be the next Neon Deion? Much as I can't stand him, Sanders was nails.

Travis Hunter is extremely talented. He's long, has outstanding ball skills, fast as cheetah. He's the total package.

I'd say he's one of the best CBs prospects in a very long time. I'd say he's a better prospect overall than Sauce Gardner was.

I'm really hoping for a shot at James Pearce Jr in round 1...even if we have to maneuver a few spots to get him.
With the idl talent in this draft we should still be able to get an above average DT in round 2
I am less into Pearce but there will be several options.

Yeah. Lots will change between now and April.
I like Pearce. But it's moreso that I want a long bendy OLB with a good getoff... the league has trended towards undersized guys lately but there are a couple full size pass rushers this time around.
Lots of options..I just want chandler Jones over Hasan Reddick if we have a choice.
