TBF at least it isnt giving up drafting talents like Tyler Linderbaum or George Pickens for Hollywood Brown and Myjai Sanders. Progress I guess.
Stupid is stupid, degrees of stupid be damned.

Every good perennial playoff team tries to build around impact makers, especially at Edge and WR if you already have your QB. If we pass on the best Edge and WR, in back to back years, when we have NEITHER, I think Monti’s suffering from a Keim-esque “smartest man in the room” syndrome.

I wouldn't want Pickens anywhere near this team. He would do the opposite of building a solid culture. He is a head case cancer. I live in Pittsburgh; I know.

There is one thing that I have noticed more and more as Kyler has played this year(Full transparency, I’ve never played football and I don’t know how to scout players from a technique standpoint fully). All of the balls he throws seem to have more loft due to the angle of release which I would imagine is based on his height compared to the players 5-7 yards in front of him.

He also seems to lay down or fall or whatever when the pocket collapses.

His best throws are out of the pocket and he seems scared to get out of the pocket.

When I watch film of Maye and to a lesser extent Williams , they throw a ball that doesn’t hang up in the air(which allows defenders to recover) or get batted at the line. Unless the offense is behind the line or out of the pocket Kyler just will not work.

I'm on the Marvin/Denzel train now. Getting the best WR and CB in the draft. That's if Burke declares. Word is, he's leaning toward returning to try and be a top 10 pick.
Wouldn’t hate it. Watched the game last night. Secondary play was impressive.

You guys should watch Ole Miss - Penn St. NFL talent all over the place. Including gems who will go later in the draft

I definitely agree, but edge really depends on who is available at the Texans pick.
