I know MHJ is the creme de la creme in this years WR class...generational, even. However, if the Cards miss out on him, is it really the end of the world? Afterall, how many Super Bowls did Fitz, Megatron, Andre Johnson and Randy Moss win? Heck, the GOAT wasn't even a top 10 pick or the 1st WR in his class drafted.

It all depends on what we do in free agency. I could settle for a different receiver if we signed a decent free agent not named Brown.
The thing about the threat of a great wr is how it opens the field for other parts of your offense.
It’s amazing we can run the ball as well as we do without a real wr threat.

PFF has Texas DT Byron Murphy Jr. as a 3rd rounder -- and that sure seems way too low

(and, i think it would be awesome if the Cards drafted ANOTHER Bryon Murphy Jr)

@Harry I followed up on your assessment of Centers in this year's draft. Slim pickings indeed. Aside from the WR group, what other groups in this draft look good to you?

All season long the Washington QB, imo, has looked great. But, he doesn't seem to be considered a top three QB for the Draft. Where does he stand?
Other than an injury history, I don't get the lack of hype for Penix. When at Indiana, INDIANA, he beat Michigan, Penn St. and had OSU on the ropes throwing for 491 yards against them. The guy can play the position. He has arm strength, accuracy and touch too. I'm taking him over Daniels very day. Plus he's 6'3 218 so size isn't an issue. Maybe being lefthanded is a small hinderance.

I think it's that and I've heard his delivery described as deliberate.

Also, he had four season-ending injuries at Indiana, which sounds bad. Both ACLs and both AC joints.

His Bleacher Report scouting report makes him sound like Jeff George.
