7 point favorite. Caleb looking like a turd as a 35 pt favorite vs ASU.
Very Drake Maye vs App State of Caleb Williams tonight.

But hey 5 td passes total vs the likes of South Carolina, App State, Pittsburgh and Minnesota is the kind of cant miss QB play of a generation.

I think people underestimate just how much of a mess that USC Oline was last year. If anything that created the need to make a play bad habit. Good coaching should help with that though.
I wonder what Lincoln Riley’s defenses be doing during practices. I’ve been wondering this since his OU days.
I wouldnt be shocked if Colorado somehow upsets them. Even with as awful as they were today.

Will state it for the Last time. If the Cardinals trade Murray ( Rookie of the year and two time pro bowler ), they better be 100% absolutely sure Caleb Williams or any QB they draft is the next Great NFL quarterback. That is honestly the kind of trade that ends coaching and GM's careers. Should the Cards trade Murray and he succeeds and Williams or another drafted QB struggle or fail when transitioning to the NFL. This franchise will be a laughing stock again ( for getting rid of another player that does well when away from the Cardinal organization ). The two QB's that have made the pro bowl while playing for the Cards are Neil Lomax and Kyler Murray. Whatever this new regime does, hope it's nothing like the moves they have been making. Even Buddah Baker seems to have NO more faith in this organization.

Finally got to sit down and watch a Penn State game. Man, do they have some prospects!

Olumuyiwa Fashanu was simply dominant, both in the run game and especially in pass pro. No surprise why he's so highly rated, and he did it against a usually dominant Iowa D.

Drew Allar...man, I wish he were draft eligible after this year! He checks all the boxes and made pro throw after pro throw, including on a 4th and 2 when Franklin stupidly went for it. The designed play didn't work and the short option wasn't there, so he tossed a laser into the end zone. Magnificent.

The defensive end, #44--can't remember his name and too lazy to look it up--had himself a game as well. Pre-season All American, I believe they said, and he showed it. Could be a 1st rounder. The DC also had this formation where they lined the DEs up over the guards on passing downs sometimes, and it was highly effective.

A number of WR also stood out.

This team is looking good this season, and, a bit OT from prospect talk, might have the QB needed to finally beat both of the Big 10 bullies.

Anybody watching this guy?

Interesting prospect - had 3 sacks vs Alabama and a very athletic PD.

Seems to be around the ball but missed too many tackles.

I watched ND vs OSU because I wanted to see Joe Alt play since he would be in consideration for tackle as well. After watching nearly a full game of Alt I can say that he is mostly hype. He's a good, but not great tackle and doesn't compare to Fashanu.

I don't. Deion came into that program, acted like a jackaloon, feasted on some bad teams and is now being fed the medicine he deserves.

Oregon has a right to feel slighted. They are an actual good team, not brash loudmouths like Colorado.

I really dislike how he treated the players who were on Colorado when he got there. He was a jerk.

It's good talk, but I don't like jerks like him. Jerks are being normalized in our society.
Thought it was funny when in the pep talk coach said their playing for clicks nd we're playing for wins

I get why a certain demographic doesn’t like Coach Prime, but it’s still disappointing to read this, lol.

4th down play call was so bad. Just QB sneak it.

I have no issue with Coach Prime and how he has done things at Colorado. I have no issues with teams using the notoriety and hype as fuel for their teams. That is football. Lot of soft folks out there.

Nope he could actually coach the kids that are there instead of pushing kids out that the university gave scholarships to.

Scholarships are one year renewable. He only asked 20 kids to leave. The rest left out of fear of better players joining the roster and because offseason training was too difficult.
