Rushing 11 for 50 and 3 TD

8 Total TDs for the Hawaiian southpaw against a good West Virginia team. That's a school record.

So long as Kyler will be the QB next season, MHJ has got to be the guy.

I don’t even think we’ll be in the range for MHJ by the end of the season, but if we don’t draft any of these WRs in the first or second round, I’ll be a bit annoyed.

If you're expecting K1 to be the good Kyler then I don't think MHJ will be in our draft range. Bad Kyler and you could probably get most anyone you want. Imo

We have to hope both qb’s are in demand. The Bears might take a Qb ( or trade the pick).
If the Bears are drafting first and second, they would probably take a qb and OT.

That is always possible. We do have a lousy roster this season, though. I can see Kyler playing good enough to earn another shot next year while the team keeps losing. You're probably right, but there is a possibility that Kyler is "the guy" and we can still draft MHJ. I can hope!

given a competent QB, its easier than the first half with 4-5 "winnable" games (defined as either favored, or, no worse than +3). That last game vs SEA also may be meaningless to them.

the sweet spot of Kyler being good + a top 3 draft position looks like losing a bunch of 34-31 kind of games where the Cardinal offense presses opponents enough that if forces the opposing offense to try to score (and score TDs) for a full 60 minutes

Missouri crushing Tennessee was story of the day. Cody Schrader rushes for 205 yds and adds 116 receiving yards. He is leading SEC in rushing after being a walk on last year. Two years ago was playing at Div 2 Truman state. The performance set an SEC record.

I would be crazy mad. We have too many holes to trade up.

It can be argued, with so many picks (we have a ton), that there are only so many rookies you can add to your roster. Trading up wouldn't be the end of the world, depending on how much we have to give up.
