Would it though? The guy hasent had a dominant season in 4 years. Hes averaging a whopping 19 tackles a year the last two seasons and that’s with talent around him everywhere. Not to mention he’s on the cusp of being 31 YOA…. I’m not saying don’t bring him in but is he really a needle mover?

He’d be no worse than the fourth best player on the defense. But I dunno.

Remember how we were able to run on the Niners in the second game last year? That was due to Armstead being out. Their fans considered him very important.

He very clearly says he doesn't think it's worth 3m for a special teams player. Especially since kick returns and punt returns are basically being phased out of football. F may be harsh for Jones, but whether he's a F or a D or a low C, doesn't seem like a great signing.

After sitting out FA last year, can anyone seriously be happy with a bunch of questionable starters being signed to this point?

Apparently they want to change the kickoff rules because now there aren't enough returns. They are trying to correct themselves.
