Brian Thomas Jr. had 17 more targets than Charmin and 380 more yards. I don't believe Charmin is unlikely to get better; I do know one poster who is doing a lot of "I told you so" around contested catches pretty early in Charmin's career tho.

I do think it's unlikely he ever becomes as good as Jefferson and Chase, but he doesn't have to do that to be successful. I'd love it if he were to be evolutionary A.J. Green (1000+ yards/7 TDs his rookie season with Andy Dalton at QB and Jermaine Gresham and Jerome Simpson combining for 197 targets).
